The 23-year-old pro surfer is currently filming a small part for Dolphin Tale 2 and has made friends with the star of the film, Winter.
“Sooo excited to be in Florida filming for #DolphinTale2 Winter is awesome,” Bethany wrote on Instagram.
This past week — on Halloween — marked 10 years since she lost her arm to a tiger shark attack.
Bethany wrote in commemoration, “10 incredible year[s] ago I lost my arm, but I say it was a gain… I have only learned & grown from that day. God is faithful & I am thankful! And I’m forever grateful to all my fans and supporter who make me want to be my best most beautiful self!!!”

Bethany Hamilton is set to tie the knot with her boyfriend of one year Adam Dirks!
The 23-year-old pro surfer announced the exciting news on her blog on Tuesday (May 7).
“The first thing we did was jump off a cliff together!” she wrote of first meeting him. “And you could say it was love at first cliff jump. We started hanging out often. Just as friends – hiking, beach, tennis, hanging with friends – getting to know each other! The more time we spent together the more I liked Adam.”
“I was stoked when I asked Bethany‘s parents blessing to ask her hand in marriage,” Adamwrote of his April 9th proposal. “They were overjoyed and gave their permission! My parents and family were also in approval!”

The 22-year-old pro surfer will be competing against Jersey Shore star JWoww, actress Alexandra Paul, Kim Richards, Kyle Richards, David Chokachi, former NFL player Terrell Owens and actor Antonio Sabator Jr. in the new FOX program.
Based on a long-running German format, the special will test eight celebrities in the diving world. They must complete a crash-course in diving techniques, overseen by renowned diving coaches and after an intense training period, they will compete in a series of Olympic-style dives, including solo high diving and synchronized diving, from a variety of heights.
