Beyond is going straight to the source tonight in an all-new episode.
In tonight’s episode we’ll see Holden finally comes face-to-face with the mysterious Frost before being cornered into helping him achieve his dreams. There, Holden will be introduced to the aims of Hollow Sky and his actually role in everything.
All the while, Willa is turning to Luke and Jeff for help in rescuing Holden from Hollow Sky’s clutches and has a long awaited reunion with her duplicitous father.

If you have, how cool is it?! We love all the mysterious elements in it and the sci-fi! If you haven’t — first, why not?, and second, you must!
The series centers on Holden Matthews a young man who wakes up from a coma after 12 years and discovers new abilities that propel him into the middle of a dangerous conspiracy.
The cast — including Burkely Duffield and Dilan Gwyn — sat down in a cool new featurette, where they explain everything you missed on Earth, if you were asleep for 12 years, like Holden was.

In the episode, “The Man in the Yellow Jacket,” Holden is determined to learn more about the mysterious man who is after him and teams up with a former adversary turned unlikely ally. This pursuit leads Holden to some shocking evidence and a vital clue.
The Matthews are unnerved when Jeff, the person they feel is responsible for Holden’s accident, continues to show up in their lives; and Luke continues to struggle with his place in the family, now that Holden has returned.
Meanwhile, Willa makes a dangerous move while trying to help another comatose patient; and Holden has an awkward encounter when he decides to ask a girl out on a date for the first time.
“The Man in the Yellow Jacket” airs TONIGHT, Monday, January 16th @ 9PM ET/PT on Freeform.
Star Burkely Duffield (you remember him from House of Anubis) is featured in the latest issue of NKD mag and opened up about his on-screen sci-fi persona, Holden.
“The sci-fi aspect and the supernatural powers that are endowed to this character, are just really, really fun,” he shared. “You’ve got the fun, dramatic aspects, but then anything could happen, and the action sequences are really cool.”
Burkely adds of filming the sequences: “There were many days where it was me on a giant green screen studio, where you have a bit of dirt on the ground and a whole bunch of green and the directors are shouting things that are happening around you…you get to work really collaboratively with directors and writers to be able to create something that really isn’t there to begin with.”
With a second season coming, Burkely is excited for more: “I am excited to see where Adam [the director of Beyond] take these characters. The first season was so amazing to lay these ground rules and entire world out for the audience to live and breathe and understand where they live and what goes on. I think that as we explore the rest of the seasons I can only imagine that things are going to get more interesting and gritty.”

The 19-year-old actress promoted the show while attending the 2017 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour with co-stars Georgie Flores, Charlie DePew, Carter Jenkins, Keith Powers, and Perrey Reeves at Langham Hotel on Tuesday (January 10) in Pasadena, Calif.
“Paige will struggle a lot with who she is and who everybody wants her to be, and I’ve been there…It’s not a fun road to go down to look in the mirror and have absolutely no idea who you are, Bella told the audience (via Deadline). “Everybody will try to change you and with social media people will try to tear you down and make you something you are not.”
She added that her character “does fall in love with three characters, maybe four, who knows?”
Freeform just announced during the 2017 TCA Tour that the show will be returning for a second season!
“Our goal for launching Beyond was to give the audience outstanding content in the way they want to watch it,” the President of Freeform, Tom Ascheim, said in a statement. “The response has far exceeded our greatest expectations, both quantitatively and qualitatively, and we can’t wait to bring more Beyond to its growing fan base.”
