Billie Eilish has performed her own Tiny Desk Concert!

The 18-year-old musician was of course joined by her older brother Finneas for the mini concert from home.

“So, obviously we are not actually at Tiny Desk because this is a cardboard cutout of it, but it’s still real, it’s just not in person real. But I’m honored to be here,” Billie said in between songs.

“I’ve been watching these for years, we have both been watching them for years. And yeah, quarantine’s been weird and I know you all feel the same,” she added. “It’s been weird and we don’t know how long this is gonna go. There’s barely anything that feels like there’s any hope in but I think the future is something to be super hopeful in. And the unknown and what is to come…we’ll be ok one day, maybe not right now but I think that’s what’s making me hold on.”

Billie and Finneas performed her new song “my future” as well as “everything I wanted.”

In case you missed it, last week Billie called out the President during a speech as part of the Democratic National Convention.

Billie Eilish Slams Donald Trump, Endorses Joe Biden In DNC Speech - Watch Now!

Billie Eilish spoke out during the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night (August 19).

The 18-year-old musician slammed the President while urging people to vote for presidential nominee Joe Biden.

“You don’t need me to tell you things are a mess. Donald Trump is destroying our country and everything we care about,” Billie started her speech. “We need leaders who will solve problems like climate change and COVID, not deny them. Leaders who will fight against systemic racism and inequality.”

“And that starts by voting for someone who understands how much is at stake, someone who is building a team that shares our values,” she continued. “It starts with voting against Donald Trump and for Joe Biden.”

“Silence is not an option, and we cannot sit this one out. We all have to vote like our lives and the world depends on it because they do. The only way to be certain of the future is to make it ourselves. Please register, please vote,” Billie concluded.

Billie also performed her latest single “my future” live during night three of the convention.

Finneas Says Billie Eilish's 'my future' Is An Evolution of Her Songwriting

Finneas is opening up about his sister Billie Eilish‘s new song “my future“!

The track was released last week, and now the older brother is dishing on his thoughts about it.

Finneas joined Billie and their dad Patrick on me & dad radio, where they talked about the song, which they of course worked on together.

“Today’s a special day because ‘my future’ has been released,” Billie shares about the song. “I am so excited. We made this song towards the beginning of quarantine. It was raining a lot. I had little puppies around and I was feeling a lot of things and I’ve been very excited to put this one out and I’m ecstatic, I’ve gotta tell you.”

“I really like this song,” Finneas says. “I feel like this song is an evolution of you as a songwriter and a good representation of the more optimistic mindset that we have had I think… you oscillate during a period like this between like a pessimistic mindset and a optimistic mindset and I feel like this is the optimistic day.”

“It’s a real real thing that we should be talking about and thinking about — you know, the future’s exciting man and growth is important,” Billie said.

Patrick chimed in with his thoughts on the song, saying, “I know it’s shocking but I like it… this is really incredibly special and beautiful production and wonderful singing and great song.”

“I think it shows a lot of growth and I am happy with it,” Billie added.

Billie also opened up with Apple Music about the process of making the song.

“This was such a satisfying process. It was so, so satisfying. We wrote the song in two days. That’s crazy fast for us,” Billie said. “I mean, to be honest with you, lately, kind of been like that. It’s kind of been… We just going, so it’s been great. It’s like, this is the most we’ve ever worked in one period of time. But we record, we wrote it like a month into quarantine probably. And it was pouring rain. We were in this like… Oh, it was such a perfect setting. Then we recorded the vocal in Finneas‘ studio, which is just in his basement in his house. And I don’t know, there was… It actually took a lot… For me, I’m sure you know, I take forever to get a vocal take that I like, and I do different takes.”

“And this one… I just, I don’t know, there was something about this one take that I did, and I was like, ‘This is the only way that it can be,’” she continued. “And then, you know what was funny? It was, we were kind of stuck for like a day. We were like, ‘What the f-k do we do here? What do we… Where does this go?’”

“And we were actually… This is so crazy. But we were actually like, I was about to leave. I was like, ‘I don’t think we’re going to get anything done,’” Billie added. “We had the song recorded, but we didn’t have, we didn’t know what to do with it. We popped in the pool. We got out of the pool, and I was literally going to go home. I was like, ‘Let’s just f-k around with it a little more.’ And we finished the song that night, like finished completely. It was crazy. It was so satisfying.”
