Taylor Lautner Sticks By Billie Lourd's Side After Her Mom's Funeral

Billie Lourd has been going through an incredibly difficult time since her mother Carrie Fisher and grandmother Debbie Reynolds‘ passing last month.

But the 24-year-old Scream Queens star has thankfully gotten lots of support from friends, especially her rumored boyfriend Taylor Lautner.

The duo stepped out together on Monday (January 9) for the first time since Carrie and Debbie‘s funeral last week.

Billie and Taylor were spotted taking a walk together before stopping to get a bite to eat in Los Angeles.

Taylor was also by Billie‘s side at the memorial service and burial.

We’re so glad that Taylor has been a support to Billie during this extremely difficult time.

Billie Lourd has had her rumored boyfriend, Scream Queens co-star Taylor Lautner, by her side for the past two weeks and he was there for emotional support at the funeral for her mom Carrie Fisher and grandmother Debbie Reynolds.

The 24-year-old actress and her on-and-off-screen love joined other family members for the burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Friday morning (January 6) in Los Angeles.

We will not be posting photos of the family in mourning out of respect for those grieving.

In an interview with Teen Vogue that has resurfaced in light of recent events, Billie reflects on Carrie‘s parenting style.

“Your mother, Carrie Fisher, is known for portraying the iconic Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy, and she is also a huge feminist,” the interviewer Ryan Murphy began. “What advice did she give you when you were starting acting?”

“She told me to be true, and kind, and confident in yourself,” Billie answered. “She raised me to not think of men and women as different. She raised me without gender. It’s kind of the reason she named me Billie. It’s not about being a strong woman – it’s about being a strong person. She once told me, ‘I never sat you down with a credo. It was more about leading by example.’”

A recent interview featuring Billie Lourd talking about her late grandmother Debbie Reynolds is even more poignant today.

The 24-year-old Scream Queens star stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers earlier this month where she opened up about Debbie and even did a lovely impression of her.

“First of all, she gets really upset when I get called Carrie Fisher‘s daughter,” Billie said. “She wants people to call me Debbie Reynolds‘ granddaughter. It’s very offensive to her.”

Billie really wanted to follow in her mother and grandmother’s footsteps of being an actress, so Debbie showed her diaries from when she was younger to make sure that’s what Billie really wanted to do.

“You’re sitting in the makeup chair. It’s five in the morning,” Billie said (in Debbie‘s voice). “They’ve pulled out all your eyebrows. You have no eyelashes left. Your hair is a shell of itself. And all you wanted to be was a gym teacher.”

That didn’t convince Billie to give up her dreams.

Sadly, she lost Debbie and her mom Carrie in the same week. Our thoughts are with her and her entire family right now.
