We are so pumped because new music from Birdy has arrived!
The 19-year-old singer just debuted her next single, “Keeping You Head Up,” which you can listen to below.
“I hope the song is inspiring, it’s meant to feel powerful and uplifting,” Birdy said. “It’s about finding a light in the dark, having the strength to hold on to it and overcome the times when we feel completely lost.”
Birdy is busy finishing up her third album, which is set for release later this Spring.

JJJ is majorly obsessing over Birdy‘s brand-new single “Let It All Go” with Rhodes!
The two British musicians teamed up on the new duet, which will drop on September 11th.
“Normally writing is very hard and solitary for me,” Rhodes shared about the partnership with Birdy. “I wanted something in the last quarter of my album that was a slight departure from the rest of the songs and after being immediately struck by the beauty and honesty in Birdy‘s voice I thought this would be the perfect way to do it”.
Birdy added, “Writing with David felt really natural, and so it followed that we should record the song together. I find both the strength and fragility in David‘s voice so beautiful…. I’m really excited about this song”.
The duet will also be featured on Birdy‘s upcoming album, out in 2016 and on Rhodes‘ album, Wishes on September 18th.
“Loved playing the @BBCR1 Live Lounge with @claraamfo today. Thanks to everyone who tuned in x” Birdy shared on Twitter afterwards.
She added on Instagram with a cute pic, “With @claraamfo ahead of performing acoustic version of Wings and cover of Kygo’s Firestone on the Live Lounge x #wings #radio1 #livelounge.”
