Bonnie Wright brings some summer to the premiere of On The Road during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival held at Palais des Festivals on Wednesday evening (May 23) in Cannes, France.
The 21-year-old actress spoke with Empire about her new short film, Separate We Come, Separate We Go, which screened at the famed fest.
“I wanted to make something personal and I’ve spent a lot of time in Dungeness, because my parents have a house just down the coast from there,” Bonnie shared. “So it has a strong connection to my family. Also, I was always a massive fan of Derek Jarman and he spent his last years there. I just love the strangeness of it, the bleakness. The more I’ve been there, the more I fall in love with it.”

Bonnie Wright looks effortlessly elegant in Dolce&Gabbana as she arrives at the exclusive Filmmakers Dinner during the 2012 Cannes International Film Festival held at the famous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Monday evening (May 21) in Cap d’Antibes, France.
The evening bash was hosted by Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen in partnership with Finch’s Quarterly Review and featured a performance from Aloe Blacc. After a dinner, DJ Jack E from Saint-Tropez kept the party going in full swing until the early hours of the morning.
Bonnie is also pictured stopping by the BFI And LFF Reception and getting a bite to eat at Tetou Restaurant on Sunday (May 20).

Bonnie Wright arrives at the 2012 Jameson Empire Awards held at Grosvenor House on Sunday evening (March 25) in London.
The 19-year-old actress was joined by Evanna Lynch and Matthew Lewis at the ceremony where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II took home Best Film.
David Yates also took home the trophy for Best Director.
While Bonnie was nominated for Best Female Newcomer, she lost out to Felicity Jones.
