“Highlighting both shorts and full-length features, the festival saw the world premiere of the comedic short First Kiss, a fan favorite throughout the weekend,” PressPass LA wrote about Brenda‘s short film which screened at the 2012 Catalina Film Festival.
They continued, “Although only four minutes long the film tells the trials and tribulations of a couple that just can’t seem to get to the first kiss, the results are unexpected and hilarious.”
Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus have called off their engagement, reps confirm to JustJaredJr.com.
The two announced their upcoming nuptials late last year following a pregnancy rumor.

“For those keeping score, ABC picked up a total of 9 pilots to series today, five dramas and four comedies. The network also will likely look at a couple of other comedy pilots, including the well-received Daddy’s Girls and Ladyfriends, which barely missed the cut at NBC,” the trade site reports.
