Brenton Thwaites dabbles with a bit of magic in his character poster for Gods of Egypt.
The 26-year-old actor stars as Bek alongside Courtney Eaton, Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Yung, Gerard Butler and Geoffrey Rush.
The flick’s summary: In this spectacular action-adventure inspired by the classic mythology of Egypt, the survival of mankind hangs in the balance as an unexpected mortal hero Bek undertakes a thrilling journey to save the world and rescue his true love. In order to succeed, he must enlist the help of the powerful god Horus in an unlikely alliance against Set, the merciless god of darkness, who has usurped Egypt’s throne, plunging the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. As their breathtaking battle against Set and his henchmen takes them into the afterlife and across the heavens, both god and mortal must pass tests of courage and sacrifice if they hope to prevail in the epic final confrontation.
The Gods of Egypt is set to hit theaters in February 2016.

Brenton Thwaites‘s next role will likely be in the highly anticipated film Pirates of the Caribbean 5, according to The Wrap!
The 25-year-old Australian actor is in talks to for the role of a British soldier in the film, which stars Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow.

Javier Bardem is also in negotiations to play the villain in the movie, which is already in pre-production in Australia.
In case you didn’t know, Pirates of the Caribbean 5 will hit theaters in July 2017. We can’t wait to see the flick!
Dave Franco looks mighty fine as he suits up to attend the 2014 GQ Men Of The Year Awards held at The Ivy on Wednesday (November 19) in Sydney, Australia.
The 29-year-old actor was joined at the event by The Giver‘s Brenton Thwaites and Unbroken‘s Alex Russell, as well as model Jessica Gomes.

According to Deadline, the young actors join Taron Egerton, George Mackay, and Sam Keeley in the pool.

Not much is known about the upcoming film in the popular franchise, but Joachim R�nning and Espen Sandberg are directing the pic with Jerry Bruckheimer producing and the studio is hoping to have it hit screens on July 7th, 2017.

Odeya Rush shines in silver while stepping out at the Meet the Filmmakers event for her new movie The Giver held at the Apple Store Soho on Tuesday (August 12) in New York City.
The 17-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-star Brenton Thwaites.

Odeya recently opened up about spending time with the cast in between filming.
“Jeff [Bridges] brought his guitar to set one day and we started having jam sessions during the breaks,” she told InStyle. “Brenton and Cameron [Monaghan] would also play guitar and I would sing. It was so much fun!”
