Jane the Virgin just landed one of the world’s biggest pop stars for a guest starring role on the upcoming second season — Britney Spears!!!
Series creator Jennie Snyder Urman revealed that Britney will be joining the hit Gina Rodriguez show and she even spilled the beans on who she will play.
“We are so thrilled that Rogelio’s ‘nemesis’ — Britney Spears — has agreed to appear on Jane The Virgin in episode 205,” Jennie said in a statement. “Personally, after hearing about their long standing fued (from Rogelio’s point of view), we are eager to hear Ms. Spears‘ side of the story, which we assume is quite different.”
Iggy Azalea just released a long string of tweets to respond to the media’s coverage of her and Britney Spears‘ rumored feud.
The 25-year-old rapper decided to speak out after she has been pitted against Britney following the comments she made about the failure of their song “Pretty Girls.”
Britney then tweeted about being excited to have concerts scheduled through the end of the year, which many have taken as her throwing shade at Iggy, whose concert tour was canceled.
“Iam honestly not surprised but still really saddened that the media is trying to create a “beef” between @britneyspears and myself,” Iggy started off her string of tweets.

Iggy Azalea is not holding back her feelings after a fan tweeted that her song “Pretty Girls” with Britney Spears was a flop.
The 25-year-old rapper is blaming poor promotion of the song as the reason for why it peaked at just number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100.
“even if PG flopped a little bit still getting a lot of views on YT and it’s the summer anthem of 2015, so whatever we love you,” the fan wrote with a positive spin.
Here is how Iggy responded: “its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured… i would have enjoyed performing it alot, i think it got off to a powerful start. but you need content to compete in 2015.”
Did you know that Little Mix actually wrote the song “Pretty Girls,” which was recorded by Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea? Well, now they are explaining why they gave up the track.
“We’ve been away a while because we wrote an album, sat with the record label and we thought, ‘Nope, it’s not good enough’,” group member Jesy Nelson in an interview with The Sun. “We recorded a whole album but we’re perfectionists and knew we could do better. So we scrapped it and started again.”
“We wrote it with Maegan Cottone, who we’ve written a lot of this album with,” Jade Thirlwall added. “We loved the song but it wasn’t really for us so we put it out there and, lo and behold, Britney wanted it.”
DO YOU THINK that Little Mix should have recorded “Pretty Girls?”
