Brittany Snow looks stunning for Vegas magazine’s 12th Anniversary cover for the “Women of Influence” issue.
The 29-year-old Pitch Perfect actress opened up to the glossy about her career and being a role model. Check it:
On growing up wanting to be a Disney darling: “That was my dream. I was going to be on The Mickey Mouse Club with Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake. But before I was old enough to audition, they canceled the show.”
On what is means to be a woman of influence: “I hope that by being myself and standing up for what I believe in, I can influence people to do the same and repay the women who influenced me. I would like to set the example of being yourself and not conforming to what society believes girls should be. I was always looking at other girls, thinking I just didn’t get it. I think every kid goes through a rite of passage when you think, ‘Who am I and who are my friends?’ With Love Is Louder, I get to talk to a lot of girls, learn what they struggle with, and share some stuff.”
On if she had a residency in Las Vegas: “Anna Kendrick and Kelley Jakle and I went to see Britney a year ago, and it lived up to everything I wanted it to be. My Vegas show would be the most boring show ever. No one would want to hear me sing for an hour, and I can’t do magic tricks. I guess I would tell bad jokes, make a lot of costume changes, introduce special guests, and have a lot of performing puppies to steal the show.”
Brittany Snow heads out of the Fox & Friends studios in New York City on Thursday afternoon (April 23).
The 29-year-old actress opened up about Pitch Perfect 2 and why her grandparents don’t want her to talk about throwing her back out while she was twerking. Check it:
On injuring herself while twerking during rehearsals for Pitch Perfect 2: “I keep talking about how during rehearsal threw my back out twerking and my grandparents do not want me to talk about this anymore. During rehearsal, I had to like bend over and twerk and I literally threw out my back. I hope so [I'm entitled to 'twerkman's comp']. I don’t think that’s a category, but I would love that.”
On what it is like working with the other women in Pitch Perfect 2: “We’re like sisters, we’re like a family. We know each other so well and we bonded really closely. It actually does because we all know each other’s comedy really well and we work off of each other really. This one was a lot easier. We know what we were up too.”
Brittany recently opened up about getting an injury from twerking.
“I’m a really bad twerker – I still haven’t figured out how to do it. I actually hurt my back one day. I woke up the next morning and my back was completely tweaked out… from twerking,” Brittany shared to Cosmopolitan.
