In a jaw-dropping new Instagram, Cameron Monaghan has revealed that the next episode of Shameless is his last. Ever.
This news follows Emmy Rossum‘s announcement that she would be leaving the longtime Showtime series at the end of the season.
“All good things come to an end. An old cliche, but one that rings true with a sincerity and clarity especially in moments like these. Everything ends,” he writes, after giving his thanks to the series.
Cameron adds, “The next episode will be my last. I didn’t want to give it away too early as I wanted this season to be a surprise for the audience, allowing them to experience Ian’s unsure journey with his character.”
“This role has been a joy to inhabit, a wild and special ride, and I’d like to thank #Shameless as well as you, the viewers, for being there with him. Goodbye, Ian Clayton Gallagher. We’ll meet again?”
Peyton List leans into Cameron Monaghan in this super cute shot from the premiere of their new film, Anthem of a Teenage Prophet, over the weekend in Vancouver, Canada.
The two stars stepped out during the 2018 Vancouver International Film Festival for the world premiere of the movie, alongside director Robin Hays, producers Tina Pehme and Kim Roberts, as well as Peyton‘s twin brother and actor, Spencer List.
Adapted from Joanne Proulx‘s award-winning novel, the film follows Luke (Monaghan), who predicted his best friend’s death and finds himself falling for his former girlfriend (List). From there, Luke spirals into more macabre premonitions.

Peyton List stops by Build Series to chat about all her upcoming projects in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (September 12).
The 21-year-old actress opened up about her roles in Happy Together, Light as a Feather and her new movie with boyfriend Cameron Monaghan, Anthem of a Teenage Prophet.
“It was a small town outside of Vancouver [where we filmed] and we all really got to know each other and became really close,” Peyton shared about working with him on the movie and how they first connected.
She adds, “It was right in the middle of filming where Cameron and I realized that we liked each other and started dating after.”

Peyton looked so fierce in a a green bra top with a matching semi-sheer jacket and pants over darker bottoms. She finished off her look with a matching clutch and eye makeup, dazzling rings and heels, and a slicked-back ‘do. Cameron donned a checked suit.
