Demi Lovato Reveals Exact Moment She Fell in Love with Joe Jonas on 'Camp Rock'

Demi Lovato is giving us all the emotions for this Throwback Thursday moment.

In a brand new clip from her upcoming documentary, Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated, she and a few friends watched her childhood videos and one of them was from Camp Rock.

Demi was able to pick out the exact scene where she fell in love with Joe Jonas in real life.

It’s the scene where Mitchie hears Shane playing his guitar at the lake and she encourages him to stand up to his label to let him make the music he loves.

“Oh my god. This moment I friggin’ fell in love with him,” Demi shares.

Demi Lovato Reminisces About 'Camp Rock' 9 Years After Disney Channel Debut

Singer Demi Lovato knows that the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock jump-started her career in a huge way — and today she is honoring that in the movie’s nine year anniversary!

“9 years of camp rock?!!!?” the 24-year-old “Confident” singer tweeted. “Time flies by so fast. Thank you Disney for the beginning of such an incredible journey.”

She accompanied her tweet with emojis of the praying hands.

Demi has said she would be super down for a Camp Rock 3 movie (albeit an R-rated one!) — a fact fans were quick to remind her of in her Twitter comments.

“We need the holy trinity together again!” one fan tweeted. Well, Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas have both said that they are on-board for another sequel too, so cross your fingers and toes!

Until then, we’re going to go listen to “This is Me” for the 1,932th time.

While most of us were all about Mitchie and Shane in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, we can’t forget about Nate and Dana.

Actress Chloe Bridges, who played Dana, recently opened up about the possibility of a Camp Rock 3 and just where the couple would be today.

“Last we saw her, she was at the bonfire making googly eyes at Nick [Jonas],” Chloe remembers. “I don’t know maybe they dated for a minute, and then break up. Maybe she’s married with five kids, lives in Wisconsin. I don’t know what she’s up to. Maybe she lives in New York and she’s a supermodel, I have no idea.”

Chloe adds, “But for the sake of fandom, I hope that she and Nate are happily in love and they sing a lot and play acoustic guitar on the weekends.”

So, is she in for a Camp Rock 3? YES!

“I would do it. I mean, realistically is it going to happen, I don’t know but, hey if that’s a thing we’re throwing around and talking about — sure.”

It’s been seven years since the last Camp Rock movie came out, and fans have definitely grown up with the actors — a fact that Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Demi Lovato want to play with.

Joe originally mentioned the idea of an R-rated Camp Rock film, suggesting it be about “the graduating days,” and to “make it kinda dark.”

Demi totally supports the film, agreeing that “fans have now grown up and so anybody that watched Camp Rock is now older and can appreciate it.”

And now, we have Nick on board as well!

“If the right thing comes together, I think that’d be fun,” he told People of the idea. “So I think for it to work, it’d have to be some creative new version where we get a writing team and do something special. But I absolutely love working with Demi and my brothers.”

Now we just need Kevin Jonas to sign on.

We would definitely watch this movie!

“Yes, and we’re totally gonna do it,” Demi teased to ET. “It’d be like American Pie meets Disney Channel… It’s going to happen.”

We know they’re kidding and all, but can’t say we wouldn’t watch it.

Nick Jonas, you’re up! Time to lock this down and make our dreams come true.

“If it made sense, sure. For all of us—Demi [Lovato], Nick [Jonas], it would be funny to do a spin on it,” Nick told MarieClaire.com. “Do the graduating days, make it kinda dark. An adult film. Well, not an adult film. An R-rated film. We’ve joked around about the idea a couple times.”

Where Are The 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' Stars Now? Find Out Here!

On this day back in 2010, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam made it’s premiere on Disney Channel.

In the film, Mitchie (Demi Lovato) can’t wait to return to camp rock so that she and Shane (Joe Jonas) can spend the summer making music and having fun with their friends and band mates.

But when a rival camp, Camp Star, run by famous music producer Axel Turner opens across the lake, it causes many Camp Rock campers and counselors to ditch Camp Rock and join Camp Star.

The film saw the return of familiar faces that we saw in the first film and welcomed new ones — but where are they now?

It’s been FIVE full years, let’s catch up!
