It looks like tonight’s episode of The Vampire Diaries is a turning point for Stefan and Caroline.
Star Paul Wesley, who is also directing the ep, spoke with EW about what happens with their bond.
“This episode is a bit of a weird dismantling of Stefan and Caroline,” he shares, adding that after Caroline’s twin girls are taken, it becomes “a major issue”.
Paul adds, “It’s all gonna shift a little bit. He won’t be making as many sacrifices soon.”
The episode also sees tensions between Alaric (Matt Davis) and Caroline (Candace King) that leads them to face some harsh realities about the future of their family.
The Vampire Diaries airs TONIGHT, December 2nd @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.
