Happy, happy, happy birthday to Candice Patton!

We can hardly believe that The Flash star is 29 today!

“Thank you so much for the beautiful birthday wishes,” Candice wrote on Twitter today after receiving some love from fans.

She adds, “Feeling a lot of gratitude today. I’ve made it to another year! Thank you God!”

To celebrate Candice, we’re throwing it back to when she opened up about her “day jobs” before she landed the part of Iris West.

“When I first moved to LA, I worked at Bubba Gump Restaurant for about two days,” she shared in an interview. “I didn’t even make it through training before I quit. I just didn’t care to memorize all the different types of shrimp.”

If you’re like Candice (and us), you know what it means to work a day job like this — and she’s spot on!

The Flash starlet got in on some hands on comedy with Colin, Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Jeff Davis for the episode.

In the show, the four put their comedic skills to the test through a series of spontaneous improv games that are prompted only by random ideas supplied by the studio audience.

After each round of improvisation, host Aisha Tyler will dole out points and declare a winner at the end.

'The Flash' Spoilers: What Happened in The Season Three Finale?

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

You know the drill by now, don’t read if you don’t want to know — but we’ve learned the fates of both Iris West and Barry Allen on the season finale of The Flash.

Iris: She didn’t die! Like many fans predicted, H.R. used his identity changing technology to switch places with her and ultimately, sacrified himself.

Now, about Barry — the season three finale saw the Speed Force itself reach out to Barry, knowing that him coming to them was the key to stopping everything about Flashpoint.

He knows that going is him returning balance and stability to it, and after a very teary goodbye to Iris and his friends, he goes into the portal with a projection of his mom, Nora.

But, we have one major question — How does Barry come back for season 4?

TELL JJJ: Did you watch the finale? What did you think?

Is Candice Patton Leaving 'The Flash' After Iris' Death?

Is Candice Patton Leaving 'The Flash' After Iris' Death?

The question of the day seems to be “Is Candice Patton leaving The Flash?”

After last night’s episode, where we saw Iris stabbed through the back by Savitar, one can only assume that the actress would be leaving the show, right? Not so fast.

In her Vulkan magazine interview, Candice revealed that she isn’t ready to say goodbye to Iris West.

“Iris is a joy to play, but I think anything you do for a long period of time will make you want to stretch yourself in a new different way,” she shared, talking about taking other projects.

She added, “I have no desire to say goodbye to Iris anytime soon.”

There’s no official word on if Candice is leaving or not. We’ll all just have to wait and find out together, with next week’s season finale.

Spoiler: The promo is rough to watch.

'The Flash' Spoilers: Could This Theory About Iris' [SPOILER] Be True?

'The Flash' Spoilers: Could This Theory About Iris' [SPOILER] Be True?

If you haven’t watched the latest episode of The Flash, you need to STOP reading right now.

Seriously, SPOILERS AHEAD!

If you did, you know that Iris (Candice Patton) was kidnapped by Savitar and then stabbed straight through the back with his arm sword. Iris is dead…or is she?

We pray that THESE pics from the set aren’t really for Iris West.

EW put out a really good theory about how the Iris that died, wasn’t really Iris at all.

“What if HR somehow traded places with Iris before her death?” they propose, and instantly, we became intrigued.

The Flash's Candice Patton Talks Iris West: 'There's So Much More Of Her To Uncover'

The Flash's Candice Patton Talks Iris West: 'There's So Much More Of Her To Uncover'

Candice Patton is on fire in this new feature with Vulkan magazine.

The Flash actress opened up about portraying Iris West on the show for so long and what’s ahead for her.

“I think this season; finally, we are seeing her come into her own,’ Candice says, loving that Iris is showing just how big of a part of the team she is. “Seeing her really be a part of the narrative. We are seeing how important she is to Flash and his story as a superhero.”

She adds, “Before, I think we’d lost that or hadn’t quite discovered it yet. We’re just starting to see her purpose and honestly, I feel like there’s so much more to uncover.”

Candice loves playing Iris, too.

“Iris is a joy to play, but I think anything you do for a long period of time will make you want to stretch yourself in a new different way.”

Don’t take that as she’s leaving though. She’s not.

Candice adds, “While I have no desire to say goodbye to Iris anytime soon, I do think it would be creatively fulfilling to try other things as well if I can find the time.”

Candice Patton Thinks Iris West Is More Than Capable Of Saving Herself on 'The Flash'

Candice Patton Thinks Iris West Is More Than Capable Of Saving Herself on 'The Flash'

Candice Patton — we like you’re thinking!

The actress, who plays Iris West on The Flash, is betting on Iris to figure out a way to save her own life.

“No, they didn’t tell me,” Candice recently admitted when asked about if Iris will make it to season four. “I have no idea and it’s a little alarming. I think I know, but you never really know.”

She adds, “I am just in the dark as the audience so it will be really interesting to see if Team Flash can pull it off. I’m hoping they can, because I need a job.”

But, if Team Flash can’t, Iris herself CAN.

“Hopefully, we’ll see a version of Iris who gets the strength to be part of saving her own life, to be a part of the narrative that ensures her safety,” she says.

“How cool would that be? She is a very capable woman, so how great would it be for a character like Iris, who has no superpowers, to be part of her own destiny?”

We are 100% on board with this!
