Carly Rose Sonenclar steps out for the Epic premiere held at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City on Saturday afternoon (May 18).

“So amazing to meet @AmandaSeyfried today at the #EpictheMovie premiere! So sweet and talented. :)” the 13-year-old singer tweeted while reporting on the carpet for 20th Century Fox.

Epic tells the story of an ongoing battle deep in the forest between the forces of good who keep the natural world alive and the forces of evil who wish to destroy it. When a teenage girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters in order to save their world…and ours.

The flick opens next Friday, May 24th.

Carly Rose Sonenclar steps out for the 2013 Stand Up For A Cure benefit held at The Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday night (April 17).

The 13-year-old singer joined others for Jerry Seinfeld‘s show to benefit research into juvenile diabetes. In partnership with The American Diabetes Asociation, the concert also featured a VIP pre-party hosted by former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza.

Carly Rose Sonenclar talks about her new music in this brand new interview with Teen Vogue!

The 13-year-old singer opened up to the glossy about her upcoming debut album, musical influences, and advice for other X Factor potentials. Check it:

On what she’s been doing since the show: “I’ve been in the studio! And I’ll be doing concerts soon, which I’m really excited about. I’m in pre-production of my album, so right now I’m writing in-between putting my show together. I’m also doing some covers which are going on YouTube. So, yes—very busy!”

On the sound of her upcoming album: “Well, it’s in the early, early, early stages so I’m not 100% sure what my sound will be exactly. But my five inspirations are Bruno Mars, Adele, Ellie Goulding, Maroon 5, and Ed Sheeran. So, if you put them all together that will give you a hint.”

On giving advice to other contestants: “Doing anything you possibly can to differentiate yourself is going to be really helpful. When I auditioned, I think people were expecting me to do a Top 40 song, but instead I did “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone, which was very unexpected. It really helped them remember me, and kept me from being put in a category that I didn’t want to be in.”

Carly Rose Sonenclar and Joey King step out for the In-Tune Concert with J-14 held at Hard Rock Cafe in New York City on Tuesday night (March 19).

The 13-year-old former X Factor USA singer ran into some trouble on her way to the event.

“On my way to @LittleMixOffic and @J14magazine #LittleMixMeNewYork event! The car broke down on the way.but we are determined to get there!” Carly Rose tweeted.

Joey was also excited for the concert. She wrote, “So excited to C @LittleMixOffic tonight @HardRockCafeNYC. They r going to bring it!!!”

Carly Rose Sonenclar gets a lift from Reeve Carney backstage at Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark on Broadway held at The Foxwoods Theater on Sunday night (January 20) in New York City.

“What a great night @spideyonbway with my @starlightnyc family,” the 13-year-old former X Factor USA finalist tweeted.

After the show, Carly Rose and a few kids from the Starlight Children’s Foundation met the stars.

“It was great seeing @reevecarney @beccafaulken backstage at @SpideyOnBway,” she added.

Good news, X Factor USA fans! Second season finalists Fifth Harmony, Carly Rose Sonenclar, and Emblem3 are reported to be getting record deals from Sony Music.

The three acts will be signed to Syco Music, a record company co-owned by X Factor executive producer and judge Simon Cowell and Sony Music. Then, Syco will partner up with either Epic Records or Columbia Records, both owned by Sony Music.

L.A. Reid, X Factor judge and chairman/CEO of Epic, is anxious to sign Emblem3 since Columbia already has One Direction on their roster.
