Charice debuts an edgy new hairstyle as she arrives at the premiere of Here Comes The Boom held at AMC Loews Lincoln Square on Tuesday night (October 9) in New York City.
The 20-year-old actress/singer plays Malia in the upcoming flick opposite Kevin James and Salma Hayek.
Here Comes The Boom follows a high school biology teacher (James) who looks to become a successful mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to prevent extra-curricular activities from being axed at his cash-strapped school.
Charice feels the rhythm in the brand-new video for “Louder.”
The 19-year-old Filipina singer debuted the video in Japan, where her new album, Infinity, is out!
Charice told Teen.com earlier this year about the tune, “I can totally dedicate that to all the haters out there. You know, like, I don’t need you. I don’t need no shoulder, you know? I’m gonna be a soldier. No one can bring me down. I’m just gonna do this and be brave. That’s why it’s called ‘Louder’ because you being brave is so much louder than you being weak. It’s such an amazing song, such an inspirational song.”
Charice belts out a tune as she performs at the David Foster and Friends concert held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday night (October 1) in Las Vegas.
The 19-year-old musician just returned from Qatar and is about to head back out overseas for a few concert dates.
“Mahal ko po kayo, thank you so much for coming here,” Charicetold crowds in Qatar at the solo concert. “First of all, I am very very honored to perform here tonight. Thank you so much for having me here. To all the people behind the show, thank you so much for having me here. It’s such an honor, thank you po, whoever you are, non-Filipinos, Filipinos, kabayan, maraming-maraming salamat po. Thank you so much.”
Charice and Tyler presented the Acuvue Inspire award to Demi Lovato for Demi‘s decision to seek treatment for her eating disorders and problems with cutting.
This was Charice‘s first time at the awards!
The 19-year-old singer tweeted, “That was freaking awesome! Demi Lovato is sooo nice. :) Thanks TCA! Now off to Japan. :)”
The 2011 Teen Choice Awards aired LIVE on FOX. The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco hosted the show!

The 19-year-old singer tells our pals at JSYK about the video, “The music video concept is all about reaching for your dream, no matter the odds. Ignore all the people who say you can’t reach your goal and always go for it!”
Charice added of the three winners who won the ACUVUE ’1-Day’ sweepstakes, “It was so much fun working with the ACUVUE® 1-DAY contest winners! Darien, Rona and Kevin were amazing to work with and because of them, the video turned out great.”
