The Mikaelsons are back in these brand new cast photos for The Originals’ second season!
In the season premiere “Rebirth,” after months of being holed up inside his compound, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) enlists the help of Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) in plotting his revenge against the Guerrera werewolves, and vows to take down anyone who poses a threat to baby Hope’s existence.
Elijah watches helplessly as Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) spirals downward while mourning the loss of her daughter and struggling to adapt to her new hybrid status.
Exiled by the Guerrera werewolves, who now control the French Quarter, Marcel is still reeling over the destruction of his vampire family, and attempts to rebuild his home with the help of Josh (Steven Krueger).
Elsewhere, Cami (Leah Pipes), who is attempting to regain some normalcy in her life, seeks comfort in a surprising place. Last, Davina (Danielle Campbell) continues her plan to use Mikael (Sebastian Roche) against Klaus, but gets sidetracked when she meets the mysterious, yet charming Kaleb (Daniel Sharman), who holds a few secrets of his own.
The Originals returns with season two on Monday, October 6 @ 8PM on The CW!

Joseph Morgan buddies up with Daniel Gillies and Charles Michael Davis for The CW Network’s 2014 Upfront Presentation held at The London Hotel on Thursday morning (May 15) in New York City.
The guys were joined on the carpet by their lovely co-star Phoebe Tonkin, whose character gave birth to a hybrid baby in the season finale!

Joseph Morgan suits up for The Originals panel during the 2014 PaleyFest held at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday evening (March 22).
The 32-year-old actor was joined by on-screen brother Daniel Gillies, who brought along wife Rachael Leigh Cook, and Charles Michael Davis. Joseph‘s girlfriend, Persia White was also spotted on the carpet with him ahead of the panel.

“In ending Rebekah’s journey, we opened up a lot of room in the final chapter of the season, which is really exploring all these different factions we’ve introduced along the way: the witches, the werewolves, the humans, Klaus playing all sides, and now Elijah stepping into that leadership role to keep some semblance of peace,” EP Julie Plec shared about what’s next on the show.
She added, “You’ve got a lot of people who all want the same thing – control of the quarter – trying to play a dicey game of backstabbing and manipulation that won’t end well.”

In “Le Grand Guignol”, In a series of flashbacks to 1919, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) opens up to Cami (Leah Pipes) and reveals details of the devastating secret Rebekah (Holt) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) were trying to keep from him. Elijah (Gillies) forms an unlikely alliance with Monique (Yasmine Al Bustami) and asks for her help in locating Sabine (Shannon Kane).
Meanwhile, in the bayou, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is at her wits’ end and holds Sabine hostage in an attempt to get information that will reverse the curse on Phoebe’s werewolf clan.

Claire Holt heads back to the past as a nurse in this new still from The Originals.
In “Long Way Back from Hell”, When Rebekah (Holt) finds herself locked up in the sanatorium where she worked in 1919, she realizes a witch named Genevieve (Elyse Levesque) is back to seek revenge and to reveal dark secrets that would destroy Rebekah if exposed.
A distraught Elijah (Daniel Gillies) turns to Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) for help when one of his decisions puts Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Rebekah’s lives in danger. With time working against them, Marcel realizes he may hold valuable information that could lead them to Rebekah and Klaus, but revealing it will almost certainly result in deadly consequences.

In “Crescent City”, At the re-opening of St. Anne’s Church, Father Kieran (Todd Stashwick) finds himself in a great deal of trouble after a run-in with a witch from his past. Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) grow concerned when the reemergence of someone they once knew threatens to expose secrets they’ve kept buried for nearly a century.
Elsewhere, Sophie (Daniella Pineda) is shocked when a discovery is made at the cemetery, but she soon realizes things may not be as they seem. With the full moon looming, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) lets Rebekah in on her plan to throw a party for her werewolf clan, but things take a dangerous turn when uninvited guests arrive.
Meanwhile, Cami (Pipes) is conflicted when she makes a difficult decision involving the safety of Father Kieran, and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) finds himself facing his own dilemma when he has to choose between Hayley and his siblings.

In “Dance Back From the Grave,” Marcel (Davis), still angered by recent events, refuses to help Klaus (Morgan) when a gruesome discovery is made in the Cauldron. Rebekah (Claire Holt) is on alert when she uncovers the remnants of a sacrifice down by the docks and immediately realizes that it’s the work of a dangerous warlock from their past.
Meanwhile, when Elijah (Daniel Gillies) gets some information that Rebekah may be in trouble, he and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) set off to find her.
