Famous in Love season two is coming back in April and we’ve got new details from stars Charlie DePew and Carter Jenkins

Speaking with ET, the two hotties revealed that the season will pick up two months after that epic cliffhanger where Paige (Bella Thorne) was given the choice between her best friend (DePew) and co-star (Jenkins).

So, where are the guys when the show picks back up?

“Jake is pursuing a new film…but he’s having some struggles getting through it, but it’s good,” Charlie shared — so ways a way from Paige, it looks like.

He adds, “He’s gotten back on his track of pursing his own movie — whether it’s in Austin (Texas) or not, we’ll see.”

As for Rainer, he’s “working on himself and trying to have more autonomy of his own life, trying to get out of this mother’s thumb. [He's] an addict, he’s an alcoholic and he finds a new addiction in season two — he finds purpose in trying to better the world and save the world, so he’s got some pretty big goals.”

But, what does that mean about that cliffhanger? Who does Paige choose?

Neither Charlie or Carter are spilling any spoilers.

“I think that this season is going to be very satisfying for all,” Carter says. “You know, it’s been a long time with this cliffhanger, and it was a brutal cliffhanger and there are a lot of questions and I think people will be very happy.”

The three Famous in Love stars were joined by co-stars Charlie DePew, Georgie Flores, and Niki Koss, plus new series guest stars Claudia Lee and Janis Valdez.

During the inaugural event, it was announced that Famous In Love would be back on April 4th with two-hour season premiere.

The series follows ordinary college student Paige (Bella Thorne), who got her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster, and her friends and co-stars as they try to navigate the bumpy waters of stardom and fame.

The photo booth resembled a Ferris wheel to emulate one of the pivotal parts of the film.

Also in attendance at the event were Famous in Love co-stars Georgie Flores and Charlie DePew with their their friends Hannah Kasulka, Chaley Rose, Katelyn Tarver, and Brooke Vallone. Other stars included singer Frankie, model Derek Chadwick, and actress Zelda Williams.

The film’s star Nick Robinson and director Greg Berlanti did a Q&A after the screening and our editor-in-chief Jared Eng was the moderator. Make sure to see the movie when it hits theaters on March 16!

Bella Thorne is hard at work on the second season of Famous in Love and her boyfriend Mod Sun visited her on set!

The 20-year-old actress got a visit from her beau while filming on location at the beach on Monday (November 13) in Malibu, Calif.

Bella was also joined by her castmates Georgie Flores, Charlie DePew, and a shirtless Carter Jenkins.

The second season of Famous in Love is expected to debut on Freeform next year and we can’t wait!

On Famous in Love, Bella Thorne‘s character Paige Townsen is torn between two sometimes-eligible bachelors: movie star Rainer Devon (Carter Jenkins) and longtime friend Jake Salt (Charlie DePew.)

Both characters represent different parts of her life, and the season 1 finale brings these two love interest to a head, implying that Paige will have to make a choice.

Well, if Bella has anything to say about it, the choice isn’t so hard.

“In season two of #famousinlove I want #jaige,” the 19-year-old actress wrote on Instagram yesterday. She also posted a picture with Charlie wrapping his arms around her, both smiling big.

Bella was able to change one storyline she found problematic, so who knows? Maybe she has some sway over the writers.

Until then, we will be waiting for season 2′s love triangle resolution with bated breath.

It doesn’t get much hotter than the hunky stars of Famous in Love and they all hit the carpet at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards held at USC’s Galen Center on Sunday (August 13) in Los Angeles.

Charlie DePew is just one of the hot new stars in Freeform’s Famous in Love.

The actor plays Jake Salt, one of Paige’s BFFs, who are there to keep her grounded while she’s experiencing a complete fairytale.

In Charlie‘s new interview with NKD mag, we learned four things about him that truly surprised us.

It’s true! Charlie was a guest star on Disney Channel’s Shake It Up! in the pilot episode. As we all know, Bella starred as Cece in the show.

“That was in the seventh grade,” he says. “Who knew I would be working with Bella again?”

Along with a few friends, Charlie founded Respark, a company that specializes in social media promotion and app development.

“My buddies and I started managing themed Instagram accounts our senior year [in high school] and we wanted to change the game of advertising,” he reveals. “That’s what Respark does. We also came up with a new product that’s still in development but will hopefully be out in June.”

The app, called Toy Box, will be a platform where you’ll be able to play integrated games for prizes and freebies. Cool!

When the show was first casting, he went in for the role, but didn’t end up getting a part. But then, after the show shot the pilot, the role of Jake needed to be recast.

“Three weeks into their new casting call, they had already seen 1,500+ different guys. They ended up calling me said they wanted me back for a studio test which actually turned out to be a chemistry read with Bella. The next night, I was set to chemistry read with Carter [Jenkins] and things did not go well. At all. I walked out of the room feeling super defeated but the casting director ran out and asked me to come back because she thought I could do better.”

Good thing for him (and us!) that the next time, it went much better.

No, seriously.

After he was initially passed over for Jake, Charlie had auditioned for Riverdale.

“It was between me and KJ Apa and I think we all know how that ended up,” Charlie says. “After that, I was really ready to just step away from acting for a while; thank God I didn’t quit when I thought I would because everything worked out the way that it was meant to.”
