Why is the internet not freaking out over the glimpse of a Leo and April hookup in the new sneak peek for Chasing Life?
And this is just one of the kisses we see in it! There’s a cute kiss, a hot makeout, some crying BFFs, an amazing family moment and more. Plus, we’re hearing that more #Grenna (Greer and Brenna) is coming. Is next Tuesday here yet?
The official summary: “Death Becomes Her” — when a friend and fellow member of her support group faces a worsening prognosis, April (Italia Ricci) begins to think more about death and her own mortality. She blows off a nightmare assignment to play hooky from work with Beth (Aisha Dee) and other members of the support group and learns something surprisingly endearing about Leo (Scott Michael Foster).
“Death Becomes Her” airs Tuesday, July 29th @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC Family.
“Death Becomes Her” Preview
This week’s episode of Chasing Life was actually one of our favorites — and we judge that by all the cute April/Beth moments we got.
The episode opened with April and Beth chatting about April’s intimate life with Dominic and filling out that dreaded doctor patient form you have to in the fertility doctor’s office. With the doctor, April gets a bit of sticker shock after hearing that insurance won’t cover the cost of freezing her eggs and out of pocket is close to $5,000. This is when Beth suggests a kickstarter campaign, which for April, we totally would contribute to.
After the appointment, April goes home to change and runs into her mom Sara, who wants to know how it went, but April doesn’t think she means it. At her cancer support group, she confides in them about the fertility doctor and telling Dominic about her illness.

April (Italia Ricci) gets some wanted advice from her cancer support group in these new clips from Chasing Life.
In tonight’s episode “Unplanned Parenthood”, April sees a fertility doctor to learn about her options prior to starting chemotherapy and looks to her cancer support group for advice on how to tell Dominic (Richard Brancatisano) about her leukemia. She also gets Leo’s (Scott Michael Foster) blessing to write a piece that paints Bruce Hendrie in an unflattering light and wins some hard-earned recognition at work.
Meanwhile, George (Steven Weber) makes an effort to help Sara (Mary Page Keller) cope with her emotions and the pressure of caring for April, and Dominic gets a surprising offer which could change everything.
“Unplanned Parenthood” airs TONIGHT, July 22nd @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC Family.

Anyone else completely hooked on Chasing Life like we are yet? Seriously, hooked.
And Leo is becoming our favorite “hate to love” and “love to hate” character. Here’s what happened on tonight’s episode:
After waking up next to Dominic, April is startled to see him just watching her sleep. Kind of creepy, kind of sweet all at the same time and he still thinks her freak out the night before was about her long lost sister instead of coming out about her cancer to her family.
April commutes back home to find her mom Sara sleeping on the couch, waiting for her. Insisting that she’s fine, April does confess that she’s scared and does not want to die to Sara. Sara also gets herself an invite to her doctor appointment with George later on in the day.
Later on, April meets up with Beth for lunch where Beth is becoming Andie Walsh, but her designs need a bit more work apparently after April’s new jacket isn’t quite what Beth imagined it to be. JJJ would still take it and wear it all the time.

Italia Ricci and Haley Ramm dress to impress at the ABC Family panel during the 2014 TCA Summer Press Tour held at Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Tuesday morning (July 15).
The two actresses were joined by their co-stars Steven Weber and Mary Page Keller to chat up their new show, Chasing Life.
Executive producer Patrick Sean Smith told press at the panel that The Fault In Our Stars, “[made 'Life'] feel a little bit less scary to go to that place. I think we’re all fascinated by the end, and death, and [we] like to talk about things that make grownups uncomfortable.”
Don’t forget there’s an all-new Chasing Life episode tonight @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC Family!
FYI: Haley is wearing an Erickson Beamon necklace.

Leo (Scott Michael Foster) is brave. How brave you ask? He got into a car with April (Italia Ricci) sporting this smile. See — brave.
In tonight’s new Chasing Life episode, April gets a surprising invite to shadow Bruce Hendrie at his campaign ad shoot for the paper. While there, Leo senses her apprehension of her diagnosis and challenges April to take control of her future.
Not one to back down from a challenge, April accepts and gets a taste of Leo’s reckless and carefree life. But when things go too far, she learns the severity of Leo’s illness.
Meanwhile, Brenna (Haley Ramm) is unsure of her future with Kieran (Augusto Aguilera), even more so when the relationship causes tension with her new friend Greer (Gracie Dzienny).
“Clear Minds, Full Lives, Can’t Eat!” airs TONIGHT, Tuesday, July 22nd @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC Family. 10+ pics inside…

When JJJ found out that Scott Michael Foster was going to be Kristoff in the upcoming season of Once Upon A Time, we had two reactions.
The first was “Why didn’t we think of him for our dream casting?” (we promptly knocked our heads after that) and the second reaction was completely joy. We had a mini-dance party in our offices about the news.
Scott, 29, was kind enough to let us ask a few questions about his upcoming role on the ABC show and even a few about his recurring status as Leo on Chasing Life. Check out what he dished below!
JustJaredJr.com: Congrats on getting the role of Kristoff! Tell us how you prepared for your audition and how you celebrated after.
Scott Michael Foster: Well, I watched the movie with my nieces and nephews about a dozen times so I REALLY got to know who Kristoff was before the audition. I celebrated with my family, who happened to be in town when I found out I got the role, at a wonderful restaurant in beautiful downtown Studio City.
JJJ: Everyone is a closet Frozen fan. How many times did you watch it?
