Cher Lloyd leathers it up at the 2013 NARM Music Biz Awards dinner party held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Thursday night (May 9) in Century City, Calif.
NARM is an annual convention where industry professionals come to meet with trading partners and network with new companies.
“I would say that the album’s almost done now and I’m very excited about it. But I feel like the person I am now is very different to the person I was two years ago when I recorded Sticks & Stones,” Cher, 19, recently shared with MTV about her upcoming album.
She added, “And I feel like I’ve obviously grown up and I have such a different opinion of the world we live in now. And I have different opinions on how I am musically and how I am personally and that definitely shows through on many of the tracks on the new album.”
Selena Gomez hits the stage to accept the award for She’s The One – Best Female Artist at the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on Saturday night (April 27).
The 19-year-old actress/singer was also on hand to present Misha Ahmad with a Heroes For Change award, which recognizes five amazing kids for their efforts to make a difference in their communities.
Denzell Perry, Dara Reyes, Ben Harowitz and Mary Dawson were the other honorees. Ellen DeGeneres, The Wanted, Carly Rae Jepsen and Justin Bieber appeared via video to present a Special Recognition Award to manager Scooter Braun for his charitable work with Pencils of Promise.
The 19-year-old British beauty is up for a few awards at the show, including She’s The One – Best Female Artist, The Bestest – Song Of The Year and Funniest Celebrity Take.

The 19-year-old British singer chatted about her future collaboration with Ne-Yo, music and more.
When asked about her favorite song of the moment, Cher answered, “There’s this British duo who are on the radio in the UK. I’m so terrible that I’ve forgotten their name, but one of their songs is called ‘Attracting Flies’ and I’m absolutely obsessed with it.”
She added, “They’ve got another song called ‘White Noise’ and they’re so good. I’m excited to see what else they come out with.”

Cher Lloyd poses with Ne-Yo in this new pic for the U.S. launch of Fruttare Fruit Bars.
The two singers have teamed up for a collaboration, which gives fans an opportunity to contribute to the creative process of an original song. Through May 20th, music lovers can help inspire Ne-Yo and Cher‘s songwriting process by sharing what “It’s All Good” means to them at the Fruttare U.S. Facebook page or by using the hashtag #ItsAllGood on Twitter or Instagram.
“I can’t wait to see how our different styles come together to create a new sound,” Cher shared in a statement. “We want people to have an ‘It’s All Good’ vibe all summer long, so we’re hoping to create a fun song that people can’t get out of their heads.”
“I always try to look on the bright side of things, so it’s cool to have the opportunity to bring that philosophy to life in a new song,” Ne-Yo added. “I’m excited to work with Fruttare and Cher to let our fans inspire the songwriting process. I can’t wait to see what people share.”
The socially-inspired single will be released this summer and the two will perform it live during the iHeart Radio Music Festival this September.
