China Anne McClain is one of the many celebrities reacting hard to Cameron Boyce‘s tragic passing over the weekend.

The 20-year-old actress, who starred with Cameron in Descendants 2 and Descendants 3, opened up on her Instagram in series of emotional videos and reflected on their lifelong friendship.

“Seeing the headlines was just too hard,” she states of being silent since the news broke. “I don’t really believe that this is actually happening and my mind is just shut down at this point and I’m feeling numb and empty, while going through the emotions.”

China continued, “To Mr. Vic, Mrs. Libby and Maya…I’m so sorry. You guys lost something that the rest of us didn’t lose. You guys lost a son, a brother, and I lost, my best friend…my closest friend, my longest friend. I will never again have a friend like Cameron.”

“This was actually his hat. He left it in my room when we were filming Descendants 2. We were hanging out with a couple of friends with one of them being another lifelong friend. We had gone to his room before going out to eat and we raided his closet. I had on his jacket and his sunglasses and his shoes…our other friend took this hat and when we were going to film Descendants 3, I packed it and was going to give it back to him. He didn’t believe that I remembered that. I had planned to give it back to him, but it didn’t happen.

“And I’m so happy I didn’t,” China shared before shedding more tears. “It feels like God left it for me, and He knew it was going to mean so much more than just being Cam’s hat.”

Uma is completely fed up with Mal in the brand new teaser for Descendants 3.

In the new teaser, Uma (China Anne McClain) details why she’s so furious with Mal and the other VKs let the Isle of the Lost residents down.

The upcoming film follows Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay as they return to the Isle to recruit a new batch of villainous offspring to join them at Auradon Prep.

When a barrier breach jeopardizes the safety of Auradon during their departure off the Isle, Mal resolves to permanently close the barrier, fearing that nemeses Uma and Hades will wreak vengeance on the kingdom.

Descendants 3 is set to premiere in August on Disney Channel.

China Anne McClain wears one of the coolest super suits ever on Black Lightning.

The 20-year-old actress spoke about getting to wear the suit on the show, saying that she really likes it.

“It feels amazing to wear the Lightning suit,” China shared. “I love putting it on because when I do I’m more than likely shooting an action sequence of some sort, and those are my favorite scenes to film.”

It’s what she’ll be wearing in the majority of tonight’s season finale of Black Lightning, too.

China Anne McClain is spilling new details about Descendants 3!

During a new interview with Star News, the 20-year-old actress opened up about the upcoming third film in the franchise, where she plays Uma, the daughter of Ursula.

“Oooh trust me, Uma is getting into trouble as usual in Descendants 3!,” she teased. “I actually did [additional digital recording] for the film recently and everything is looking very good so far.”

China added, “Uma is going to surprise people in D3, I think. You will see a side of her that has been pretty hidden up until now.”
