AnnaSophia Robb reflects on her surfing days in the new teaser trailer for her upcoming film, Soul Surfer.
The film follows the 17-year-old actress as Bethany Hamilton, a young, teenage surfer girl summons the courage to go back into the ocean after losing an arm in a shark attack. The film was actually inspired by the real Bethany Hamilton.
Hayley Kiyoko stares back at the lemonade vending machine in this brand-new still from the upcoming DCOM, Lemonade Mouth.
The story begins in present day as Lemonade Mouth takes the stage at Madison Square Garden before thousands of cheering fans. Olivia (Bridgit Mendler), the introspective lead singer of the group, narrates the epic story of how the band got to this point.
It was a chance meeting in Miss Reznick’s (Tisha Campbell-Martin) detention that brought this unlikely ensemble together. Stella (Kiyoko), the connector in the group, immediately recognizes the potential for the band of detainees to become a band of rockers, but first she must convince the reluctant group that they need to take a chance on expressing themselves and realizing their dreams.
However, not everyone in the school is ready to welcome a new band. The school’s popular rock group, Mudslide Crush, are determined to maintain their status as the school’s leading entertainment choice. Complicating matters further is Mo’s (Naomi Scott) boyfriend, Scott (Nick Roux), who is Mudslide Crush’s lead guitarist.
Lemonade Mouth premieres Friday, March 25 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel. Stay tuned to JJJ for our exclusive interviews from the set!
BFFs Nathan Kress and Doug Brochu pair up together as they attend the Kinect for Xbox 360 Launch Party held at a private residence in Beverly Hills on Saturday afternoon (October 23).
The duo recently checked in with our pals at Fanlala for their 1 on 1 interview and Nathan, 17, was faced with the hardest question ever: What character would he be from Star Wars?
Nathan shared, “I feel like the go-to answer would be Luke Skywalker, but I want to be a little more mature than that. I think I would be Boba Fett or Deadgar, the guy with the bandage around his head who had that wicked brain surgery where he had an implant that made him a bounty hunter or whatever.”
The 19-year-old actress/singer joined Lemonade Mouth costars Blake Michael and Chris Brochu inside the party.
Hayley, who also stars in Scooby Doo: Curse of the Lake Monster, ran into a bit of trouble earlier in the day at a salon appointment. She tweeted, “once upon a time a happa girl went to go get her eyebrows done..she just started using this cream that helps u w/ uneven skin tone…this cream basically thins ur skin out, leaving it very sensitive…being naive…she sits down for the waxing…and when they wax her eyebrows…her skin on her eyelids gets ripped off!!!!…leaving this happa girl looking like a panzy. the end.”
She added about having a scar, “Hopefully I’ll have a scar….and look bada– like Scar from The Lion King!”

Nick Roux as Scott Pickett and Chris Brochu as Ray Beach will play rival band Mudslide Crush.
Lemonade Mouth is set for a 2011 release on Disney Channel.
