Out NEXT WEEKEND, the flick is based on true events and follows a group of teenagers who start a disturbing crime-spree in the Hollywood Hills.
The group, who were fixated on the glamorous life, tracked their celebrity targets online, and stole more than 3 million in luxury goods from their homes. Their victims included Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, and Rachel Bilson, and the gang became known in the media as “The Bling Ring.”
Claire Julien and Taissa Farmiga arrive at the premiere of their new film The Bling Ring held at the Directors Guild Of America on Tuesday night (June 4) in Los Angeles.
The actresses were joined on the red carpet by their co-star Emma Watson.
The Bling Ring stars premiered their new movie at the annual fete just the day before.
Just before the red carpet, Claire, 17, was spotted at Fawaz Gruosi‘s 20th Anniversary suite where she tried on jewelry pieces from his de Grisogono high jewelry collection.
Katie, also 17, was seen later in the night at the IFP, Calvin Klein Collection and Euphoria Calvin Klein celebration of Women In Film.
“I’ve always loved America,” Emma recently told W magazine. “When we came here with Harry Potter, everyone was so warm. Eventually, all of my friends were American, and I think that’s why I was attracted to playing Americans, even extreme ones like [my Bling Ring character] Nicki.”
