The 16-year-old actress is celebrating this week — her new Fox show, Surviving Jack, was picked up for the midseason!
“So excited and SO Blessed. God is Good! #SurvivingJack,” Claudiatweeted.
Based on Justin Halpern‘s book “I Suck At Girls”, Surviving Jack tells the story of a boy becoming a man, and a man becoming a father, in a time before coming of age was something you could Google. It centers on a father, Jack Dunlevy (Chris Meloni), and his teen son Frankie (Connor Buckley). Check out the trailer below!

Claudia plays Brooke, one third of a trio of mean girls to Chloe‘s character, Mindy aka Hit Girl.
The Awkward actress caught up with THR recently to chat about what’s coming up on the hit MTV series.
“Nothing good [will come from Ricky and Tamara], obviously,” Jillian shared. “Tamara continues to get her heart broken by Ricky and every time she thinks they’re good, she finds out that he has another girl on the side. It’s a little more dramatic [this season] because Tamara is extremely hurt by his choices and what he’s putting her through.”
