“I’ve been going through a difficult break-up for a long time and the message is you can’t just replace an ex-partner with someone else. You have to be strong in yourself,” front-woman Grace Chatto told the London Evening Standard. “I’ve never been through a break-up like this before… I was always the type of person who would go straight into another relationship.”
“We recorded it over FaceTime. It was crazy,” Grace added about working with Demi. “She was in Alabama in a studio and we were over here. You know when the connection is bad and the speed fluctuates? We couldn’t hear that well, but it turned out really well.”
“Solo” is also available to stream on Spotify and download on iTunes now!

It looks like Connor Ball couldn’t find another seat in the giant green room in this pic from Radio City Christmas Live 2016!
The Vamps singer sat right on top of James McVey, while the group took a pic backstage at the holiday event.
The band met up with Clean Bandit and Louisa Johnson for the annual fete, where they all chatted up their holiday traditions and what’s coming in the new year.
Louisa, the former winner of X Factor 2015, is also pictured at the M&M’s World London grand reopening event — the store actually has the world’s largest chocolate wall!
Louisa Johnson sings a song loud for the crowd during her appearance at ITV Studios in London, England on Friday (July 15).
The 18-year-old reigning X Factor champ joined Clean Bandit on Good Morning Britain to perform their new hit song, “Tears”.
“It was one of those festivals where they take over the whole of Butlins. I hadn’t seen any of this series of X Factor. I was with Luke [Patterson, her bandmate] in our little chalet that was our dressing room,” Clean Bandit‘s Grace Chatto, recalled of hearing Louisa sing. “I was in the other room and I heard her voice on TV through the wall. I ran in and said, ‘Who’s that?’”
She added, “We had this song already almost finished apart from the vocal. We managed to get it to her and she really loved it. It all happened really quickly. As soon as she sang the first line we knew it was right.”
The 18-year-old current X Factor champ teamed up with the electro music group for the new track, which will be featured on their new album.
“Not bragging but this chainmail was made for QUEEN B i nearly died,” Louisa shared on Twitter after the video had dropped, showing off a close up of her chainmail she wears in the video.
