Cobra Kai has now been confirmed to be coming to an end!
Netflix just announced on Friday (January 20) that the series, which first started out on YouTube, will get one more, sixth and final season on the streamer.
The news was confirmed by the show’s creators, writers and executive producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, in an open letter to fans.

We’re taking fans behind-the-scenes of the latest season of Cobra Kai!
The series’ fifth season debuted exactly two weeks ago, and remains in Netflix‘s Top 10 shows.
In the streamer’s latest Top 10 lists, released on Tuesday (September 20), the season had racked in an additional 95.55 million hours viewed in it’s second week streaming, nabbing the No 1 spot on the list.
The week before, the show topped the list at 106.7 million hours viewed!

The fifth season of Cobra Kai is out now on Netflix!
With the new episodes premiering on Friday (September 9), the highly-loved show of course was the No 1 show on the streamer in it’s first few days.
The hit series’ new season brought in over 106.7 million hours viewed in just it’s first three days online, nabbing the top spot on Netflix’s Top 10 most watched English series list.
It also hit the Top 10 in 83 countries globally, including No 1 in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, the United States, Panama, Austria, Belgium, South Africa, Germany, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Australia and more!
However, it was quite the season, with some saying it could’ve served as a series finale, and wondering if this was the end for a certain character.

Tanner Buchanan, Xolo Maridueña and Jacob Bertrand looked super handsome while arriving for the season five premiere of their show Cobra Kai held at Los Angeles Historical Park on Wednesday (September 7) in Los Angeles.
The trio of guys of course got all dressed up for the occasion, which is actually the show’s first red carpet premiere event since it moved to Netflix.
Also in attendance were their co-stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Courtney Henggeler, Mary Mouser, Gianni Decenzo, Vanessa Rubio, Martin Kove, Dallas Dupree Young, Oona O’Brien, Griffin Santopietro, Yuki Okumoto, Thomas Ian Griffith and Alicia Hannah-Kim.
Ralph and William actually arrived to the premiere in the Eagle Fang Van!
Noticeably missing from the premiere was Jacob‘s girlfriend and one of the stars of the show, Peyton List. She is actually currently filming another show – School Spirits.
