In Real Life Splits Up After 2.5 Years Together

Sad news for fans of the boy band In Real Life – the group has decided to split up after performing together since 2017.

The guys, who became a group on the ABC series Boy Band, announced the news to fans on Monday (January 20).

In Real Life released an album titled She Do in 2019 and they also charted two songs in the Top 40 of the US Pop Songs chart.

“The last two and a half years have been a life changing experience for us. We have gone on six tours, had a billboard charting single on the radio, and dropped our debut album last year,” the group wrote in their message. “Through all of this, we have gotten a chance to live our dreams, grow closer as brothers as we build an even greater family, our fans. From the hours you all have spent promoting our singles, to camping out days before our shows, you have always been there for us.”

“From the success of In Real Life, each of us individually have received some incredible opportunities that we believe we must take. As we begin this new decade, it is our decision to take up those opportunities, and see what success may come out of them. Each of us possesses a unique talent that we would love to share with the world, so with that being said, we will be starting a new journey as five solo artists. Just as you have supported the group these past couple years, we request the same love from our family for each member of our band. This is not goodbye from ‘In Real Life‘ forever, it’s just what we believe is right for this moment. We love you all, and look forward to seeing you this year,” they added.

In Real Life Dishes on How Their Differences Bring Them Closer

In Real Life Dishes on How Their Differences Bring Them Closer

In Real Life looks sharp on the latest issue of A BOOK OF Magazine, which includes six collectible covers!

Here’s what the boy band – Brady Tutton, Chance Perez, Drew Ramos, Sergio Calderon, and Conor Smith (aka the final five vocalists the reality TV music competition series Boy Band – had to share with the mag:

Chance on their latest Christmas special, “California Christmas”: “For me, what makes the song special is that it’s the first song that we wrote together and released as a group and on our new independent label. We had never written a song together before that song. This is 100% us, and it’s really exciting to release something like that and be proud of it.”

Sergio on touring with the band: “It’s super fun. These guys have such different personalities and you can notice when one guy is missing. Everyone brings something different in the table, whether it’s their sense of humor, their serious side or their goofy side. We’re getting a lot closer and getting to know each other a lot more so it’s easier to work with each other more personally.”

Conor on live streaming: “I remembered when I started doing live streams on the show, it showed me that it doesn’t necessarily matter how many followers you have but it’s mostly what you’re saying. I realized that through me talking and being myself on my live streams, I connect with people.”

Brady on his relationship with his bandmates: “It changes a lot. The fact that we’re all so different helps a lot. Just being honest, when you’re with four other people for two years, you have to keep refreshing yourself and give each other their own time.”

Drew on the band’s accomplishments: “Even though considering the circumstances like not having my own individuality and my own artistic creations, we were still able to do things that I never would have done. We did radio shows, we did TV shows, we traveled the country, we traveled across the world and I will always be grateful for it. ”
