Lea Michele‘s highly-anticipated debut album will include a song titled “You’re Mine,” which she wrote for her late boyfriend Cory Monteith.

“The album was done, and the label said, ‘Do you want to add anything?’ I was like, ‘I might regret it if I don’t',” Lea told Elle magazine (via MTV) in the latest issue. “It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think of him, I play this.”

'Glee' Actor Mike O'Malley Talks Cory Monteith, Filming 'The Quarterback'

'Glee' Actor Mike O'Malley Talks Cory Monteith, Filming 'The Quarterback'

Cory Monteith‘s on-screen step-dad Mike O’Malley opened up on The Ellen Degeneres Show about filming tonight’s tribute episode, “The Quarterback.”

Cory Monteith was a great guy, he was my step-son on the show, and he was a terrific, terrific actor,” the Welcome to the Family actor shared during his interview.

“What was interesting about shooting the episode is that you’re tasked with doing your job, which is the story of telling the story. And it’s a story that is important to tell because I think that the audience… he was an important character to them. But yet everyone in the audience and you realize when you’re doing this episode, it’s about someone who is very… he’s gone,” Mike continued.

“It’s a really remarkable episode. It’s one of the most beautiful episodes ever written on that show, and I think they’ve written some beautiful ones.”

Lea Michele Breaks Silence: 'I've Lost Two People - Cory & Finn'

Lea Michele Breaks Silence: 'I've Lost Two People - Cory & Finn'

Lea Michele has opened up about her late boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith just one day ahead of the show’s tribute to him.

“For me personally, I’ve lost two people: Cory and Finn,” the 27-year-old actress told TV Week Australia. “We had a beautiful memorial for Cory in the auditorium and some of the cast members sang and people spoke about him. It only felt right that we would do the same thing for Finn, so I felt it was very therapeutic.”

“Everyone is asking: ‘Is it hard to do this? Is it hard to be back at work?’ but the truth is it’s no harder at work than it is in life,” she continued. “So we might as well all be together as a family supporting each other to get through this together.”

Lea added, “I woke up every single day feeling like I was in some sort of spell or something, that I was lucky enough to have him in my life. There was no greater man than Cory, so for the time we spent together, I consider myself very lucky.”

Don’t forget – “The Quarterback” airs tomorrow night @ 9PM on Fox.

Jane Lynch Honors Cory Monteith at the Emmy Awards (Video)

Jane Lynch took the stage to pay tribute to Cory Monteith at the 2013 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (September 22) in Los Angeles.

“From the first time you saw [Cory], he had a star quality and a genuine sweetness that made it impossible not to fall in love with him. And millions did fall in love with Cory.” Jane shared during her heartfelt speech.

Cory was a beautiful soul. He was not perfect, which many of us here can relate to. His death is a tragic reminder of the rapacious, senseless destruction that is brought on by addiction. Tonight we remember for Cory for all he was, and mourn the loss of all he could have been.”

Ryan Murphy Talks Cory Monteith's Memorial 'Glee' Episode

Ryan Murphy Talks Cory Monteith's Memorial 'Glee' Episode

It’s been just over a month since the passing of Cory Monteith and fans are wondering how his character on Glee will be written out.

Creator Ryan Murphy spoke to Deadline about the memorial episode and just how Finn will be written out of the show.

“It’s been a difficult circumstance because we basically went straight from the memorial into [reworking] the two Beatles episodes, which I think are fun and optimistic, that we had always had planned. The hard part for all of us is that the past week we’ve been holed up writing the memorial episode. There were a lot of things that we had to decide – how are we going to deal with his death? At one point, we were going to have his character die after an accidental drug overdosethat was something we had considered. But we have decided that we’re not going to have him pass from that. Basically, what we’re doing in the episode is we are not telling you yet, or maybe not at all, how that character died.

“The idea being, how somebody died is interesting and maybe morbid, but we say very early on in the episode, ‘This episode is about a celebration of that character’s life.’ That might be weird for some people, but it felt really exploitative to do it any other way. The cast and crew have had solace in being together. They’ve been holed up doing those Beatles numbers. There’s been tears on set. It’s been hard for a lot of people. But the really difficult thing is coming. We start shooting the memorial episode this week.

“We’re just now finishing it, and at the end of the week we’ll send it to [the studio 20th Century Fox Television] to get their approvals. But I think it turned out to be a lovely tribute, and it’s a very heartfelt look at how young people grieve. After that, we’re going to take two weeks or three weeks down to get our heads together because it’s been a really hard thing to write. We loved Cory and we loved Finn and it feels like a huge loss and a huge heartache not to have either of them around. We’re trying to craft an episode that’s not just about us grieving but about a lot of the young fans grieving.”

Glee returns in late September.
