Dalton Rapattoni dropped his first full-length album, Nobody’s Home, in September and now we have a powerful music video to accompany it.
The former American Idol contestant debuted his “Heaven” music video today and it’s stripped-down and powerful.
Dalton soaks in a bath full of fish, sings against a wood backdrop, and dances through open fields as he sings: “And even after all the hell we’ve been through/I found my heaven in you.”
Dalton Rapattoni just dropped his first, full-length album and we just can’t stop listening!
The musician, and former American Idol competitor, opened up about the themes of the album to JJJ earlier this summer.
Dalton also spoke to PopCrush about the feeling of having this album being only his: “I’ve been in a lot of bands before and this was the first one I’ve gotten to really say what I wanted to say.”
“The music is kind of an amalgam of a lot of the stuff I’ve done before and I really hope y’all like it,” he adds.

Dalton Rapattoni‘s brand new single, “Signs”, is still on repeat in the JJJ offices right now.
But even better is knowing that we’ll be getting more Dalton music super soon!
The musician also announced his debut album, Nobodys Home, coming out on September 22nd — and JJJ has a big scoop on the record.
“It’s definitely a lot more optimistic than anything I’ve done in the past,” Dalton tells us about the overall theme. “I’ve sort of reached a point where I’m not just a mopey kid amymore that’s always crying and taking about how sad he is.”
“It’s nice to be able to be excited about things.”

We don’t know about you, but Dalton Rapattoni was one of our favorite ever artists over the course of American Idol‘s 15 seasons — and we are so excited about debuting his brand new single, “Signs”!
The musician exclusively spoke with us about the new song and the story behind it.
The brand single is from his upcoming album, Nobodys Home, which will be out on September 22nd.
“When I wrote the song, I was in a weird spot in a relationship where I didn’t know where she and I stood,” Dalton tells us about the track.
“To me it’s just about wanting her to show me what to do, I suppose.”
