At first hesitant, Cara Delevingne is now very happy she shaved her head for her upcoming role in Life in a Year.

“It’s nice to not have to maintain your hair. We all get attachment to hair but it’s just hair. It grows back,” the 24-year-old actress expressed while promoting her latest film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.

“I feel like I definitely was more aware that you could pretty much hide behind your hair, but it was really liberating to realize that you don’t need hair to be beautiful and to feel like a woman,” Cara concluded.

Cara Delevingne and Dane DeHaan got some star-studded support at the premiere of their new movie Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets!

The co-stars hit the black carpet at TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday night (July 17) in Hollywood.

Cara sported a sheer silver dress with a halter neck, styling her hair into waves that gave off an Old Hollywood vibe, while Dane rocked a colorful shirt underneath his suit jacket.

They were joined by Kendall Jenner, who showed off her long legs in a strapless black mini dress.

Also in attendance were Cara‘s sister Poppy Delevingne, Dane‘s wife Anna Wood, Kat Graham, Skai Jackson, Sasha Lane, Jeremy Scott, Connor Franta, Stefanie Scott, Brec Bassinger, and Jordyn Jones.

In the sci-fi film, Cara and Dane play a special operatives who goes undercover while on a mission to protect Alpha, a city that is home to species from a 1,000 planets.

Cara Delevingne rocked some sparkly jewels on her shaved head at the 2017 Vogue Party!

The model also paired her sleeveless black dress with silver necklaces at the event held during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (July 4) at the Palais Galliera in Paris, France.

She was joined by Kendall Jenner, who wore a long-sleeved navy blue dress with a black pleated design.

Also in attendance were Bella Hadid, Dane DeHaan, and Barbara Palvin.

The 24-year-old UK actress completely rocked her shaven head as she was joined on the panel by her co-star Dane DeHaan.

Cara Delevingne currently has a bald head for an upcoming movie she’s currently filming and she is so proud to show it off!

The 24-year-old model and actress looked so fierce while walking the carpet at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (May 7) in Los Angeles.

Cara was joined at the event by Dane DeHaan to promote their upcoming movie Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. They are set to hit the stage together tonight!

Cara spoke about her audition for the film, doing stunts, and more. Here’s what she shared…

On first meeting with director Luc Besson about the film: “I didn’t know we were meeting about this movie. Even my agents didn’t know it was for this, and it was clear this was a top-secret project. I was just told, ‘Luc wants to have brunch,’ and I said, ‘Great, let’s do it.’ But when we met, he explained it all with such enthusiasm that it was clear he’d been trying to do this for so long and it was a passion project.”

On her audition: “I had to prove myself, but not in a typical audition setting. Luc would say stuff like, ‘Make up a story in your head and describe it to me using no real words, just physicality and random sounds you make up.’ Or, ‘Think of an animal and act it out and I have to guess what animal it is.’”

On doing her own stunts: “When I hear that there’s an option that I can do it instead of a stunt person, I’m always like, ‘Please let me do it! Throw me off the building, I like that!’”

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets just debuted another trailer with some brand new footage and you need to see it!

The film’s stars Cara Delevingne and Dane DeHaan team up as they attempt to save the universe in some intense clips.

The new trailer even features a quick cameo from Rihanna!

The film, which is based on the Valerian and Laureline comics from the 1960s, follows the special agent duo, who are tasked to save the land from an unknown dark force.

Valerian is set to hit theaters on July 21.
