The Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets trailer just debuted online, and we’re so excited!

This is the first trailer for the movie, starring Cara Delevingne and Dane DeHaan.

Here’s a full synopsis: Valerian (DeHaan) and Laureline (Delevingne) are special operatives for the government of the human territories charged with maintaining order throughout the universe. Valerian has more in mind than a professional relationship with his partner- blatantly chasing after her with propositions of romance. But his extensive history with women, and her traditional values, drive Laureline to continuously rebuff him.

Under directive from their Commander (Clive Owen), Valerian and Laureline embark on a mission to the breathtaking intergalactic city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis comprised of thousands of different species from all four corners of the universe. Alpha’s seventeen million inhabitants have converged over time- uniting their talents, technology and resources for the betterment of all. Unfortunately, not everyone on Alpha shares in these same objectives; in fact, unseen forces are at work, placing our race in great danger.

The film hits theaters on July 21, 2017, and also stars Rihanna, Ethan Hawke, John Goodman, and more.

Cara Delevingne gets silly as she arrives at a Rimmel London event on Wednesday night (November 9) in London, England.

The 24-year-old went rocker chic in a bomber jacket, crop top, and ripped jeans for the event.

It was recently announced that Cara would be the new ambassador for the makeup brand and launched her own Rimmel Mascara at the event.

Earlier that day, promotional pics from Cara‘s new film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets were released.

Cara Delevingne and Dane DeHaan brace for impact in this new preview image from their new film, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.

Based on the comic book, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, the film centers on Valerian (DeHaan) and Laureline (Delevingne), two “spatio-temporal agents” who travel through time and space to protect humanity across various worlds in the 28th century.

When they are assigned to investigate the expansive city of Alpha, a metropolis composed of seventeen million inhabitants working for the betterment of the future, they’ll learn that not everyone there shares in this utopian vision.

Cara is also pictured below arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday (April 8) ahead of the MTV Movie Awards, where we’ll get a sneak peek at her other movie, Suicide Squad.

Dane DeHaan poses for photos on the red carpet at the premiere of his new movie Life during the 2015 Deauville American Film Festival on Saturday (September 5) in Deauville, France.

The 29-year-old actor was not joined at the premiere by his co-star Robert Pattinson. Rachelle Lefevre and others were seen on the red carpet that evening!

Robert Pattinson talks excitedly to Dane DeHaan in the new trailer for their upcoming film Life.

The pair star in the flick, which does not currently have a US release date!

Joel Edgerton and Ben Kingsley also star in the flick that follows photographer Dennis Stock (Pattinson), who picks up the assignment to shoot up-and-coming actor James Dean (DeHaan). The movie follows their friendship as they travel around the states together.
