In the upcoming episode “Journey to the Center of Mason,” After losing her wizard powers and becoming mortal, Alex (Selena Gomez) can no longer date Mason (Sulkin), so they decide to try being best friends instead. But when Alex’s old boyfriend Dean (Samonas) reappears, Mason has a hard time keeping his jealousy in check.
Meanwhile, Justin (David Henrie) tries to motivate his class of delinquent wizards to get back on track at WizTech.

Powered by volunteers and families with loved ones on the autism spectrum, this fundraising effort generates vital funds for autism research, awareness and family services. Autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disorder, with 1% of the population affected.

In the upcoming episode “Wizards vs. Vampires: Dream Date,” after Dean (Samonas) moves away, Alex (Gomez) continues to date him by using magic to enter his dreams. When he pays her a surprise visit and the real date isn’t as great as she had dreamt, she searches for a way to break up with him. Meanwhile Justin (David Henrie) tells his vampire girlfriend Juliet (Bridgit Mendler) that he is not allowed to go on her family camping trip.
“Wizards vs. Vampires: Dream Date” premieres Friday, August 7 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Wizards of Waverly Place star Daniel Samonas dazzles in this new still from G-Girlz’ Keana‘s new music video, “Daredevil.”
Daniel, who plays Selena Gomez‘s boyfriend Dean on the Disney Channel show, plays the vampire stalker in the vid. Twilight-esque, anyone?
