Danielle Bradbery's 'Goodbye Summer' Music Video To Aid Hurricane Relief Efforts in Rosemary Beach, Florida

Danielle Bradbery is using her music for good.

The 22-year-old singer just dropped her new music video for “Goodbye Summer” with Thomas Rhett, and it’s totally gorgeous.

However, the visual isn’t just a pretty thing to watch and listen to – it’s also a way to give back. The video was filmed in Rosemary Beach, an area that was struck by Category 4 Hurricane Michael, the strongest storm on record to hit the Florida Panhandle.

“Rosemary Beach has always been a special place to me, especially now that we captured its beauty in this video,” Danielle shared. “I knew I wanted to help out the local community after Hurricane Michael hit, and the Rosemary Beach Foundation is the perfect organization to partner with.”

She continues, “They were immediately providing meals and supplies to the people who lost everything, and now they’re distributing funds to local organizations involved in relief efforts – supporting everything from the rebuilding of homes to purchasing supplies for local schools.”

Danielle Bradbery goes edgy with her look at the 4th Annual TIDAL X: Brooklyn held at Barclays Center of Brooklyn on Tuesday night (October 23) in New York City.

The 22-year-old “Goodbye Summer” singer wore a Michael Costello dress with Stuart Weitzman heels, and jewels from Taylor Wilkins Designs and Jennifer Zuener.

Speaking recently about her musical inspirations, Danielle shared that it was Carrie Underwood who inspired her to start singing.

“I always say this, but it’s so true. I lived with every Carrie Underwood album you could think of,” she shared. “Even younger, I sang and could tell you every single song that she’s probably sang. I remember owning a DVD that went with one of her albums.”

Danielle adds, “It was like the recording process of her singing some of the songs in the studio, and I’d watch that and see her perform these songs in the studio that I didn’t even know about at the time. And seeing her I was like, okay, yeah, I want to be her and I want to sing like her.”

Danielle Bradbery Opens Up About Collaborating With Thomas Rhett

Danielle Bradbery is spilling on working with Thomas Rhett!

The 22-year-old singer and Thomas just released a duet version of of her song “Goodbye Summer,” which originally appeared as a solo track on her sophomore album, I Don’t Believe We’ve Met!

“I lived with the demo for a while – without even knowing for sure if I was going to cut it. I jammed out to the song all the time. When we had the idea of putting it out as a single, Thomas Rhett was the first one that came to mind. I loved singing with him. It just happened naturally, and I’m very excited about it,” Danielle told Billboard.

She added, “I love collaborations. Sometimes, you just hear a certain voice on a track, and this one – being about summer and with Thomas writing it and being a part of that process, it just seemed natural.”
