Danielle Bradbery surrounds herself with the members of the Anitoch High School Band during a Music In Our Schools Presentation on Thursday afternoon (March 6) in Antioch, Tenn.
The 17-year-old singer kicked off the cross-country tour, will spotlights music education and the benefits music teachers bring to their students and school communities. The tour will wrap up later this weekend at the Walt Disney World, where Danielle will perform at Festival Disney.
“This is a great way to reach kids my age and show them that the skills they learn in music can help them to be successful in life,” Danielle shared in a statement about the tour. “Through music, I’ve learned the value of persistence and working hard to make my dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that with students and others during the tour.”
Danielle Bradbery just singed on the dotted line as the new brand ambassador for Skechers.
The 17-year-old singer will appear in the company’s global marketing and social media campaigns through 2015, WWD reports.
“This has been an incredible year. I never thought I would have a record deal so quickly and appear in campaigns for Skechers,” Danielle dished about her new role. “Bobs shoes have helped so many children in need with their donation program, and I love the fact that it really is a simple way for anyone to give back.”
The 17-year-old singer opened up to Teen Vogue about the track, “‘Talk about Love’ is, of course, a love story. I can listen to it over and over again, because it has such a catchy tune. The words are sweet and anybody who is in such a deep relationship can relate. I absolutely love this song.”
Danielle added about the whole feel of her record, “When I was picking the songs for my album, I made sure it didn’t sound like everyone else—it sounds like me and shows who I am as an artist. This experience is incredible. It’s all new to me and I love it.”
