Demi Singleton steps out for the 2021 Celebration of Black Cinema & Television event, presented by the Critics Choice Association at Fairmont Century Plaza on Monday evening (December 6) in Los Angeles.
The King Richard actress was joined by her co-star and on-screen sister Saniyya Sidney, as well as Kenan‘s Dani and Dannah Lane.
The annual event honors standout achievements in Black filmmaking; this year, for the first time, the awards ceremony will also celebrate achievements in television.
Honorees this year include Anthony Anderson, Jennifer Hudson and Barry Jenkins.
While inside the event, Demi, Saniyya, Dani and Dannah were all seen taking the stage to present.
Demi and Saniyya also snapped photos with Jennifer Hudson, Ava DuVernay and Halle Berry.
Ava even gushed about Demi on her Instagram story, writing, “Loved meeting this sweet young sister. So poised and warm at only fourteen years old. Look forward to big things from @demisingleton. Watch her and @saniyyasidney in ‘King Richard.’ So strong in the film.”
