Demi Lovato has sadly announced to her fans that her super cute puppy Buddy has died.
The 22-year-old singer revealed in a blog post on Twitter that she and boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama are mourning the death of their beloved dog. Demi got the adorable puppy last Christmas as a special gift.
“We are absolutely heartbroken to be writing this but Wilmer and I are devastated to inform you that we lost our little angel Buddy last Sunday,” Demi wrote. ‘He was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident and though I will never know why this had to happen, I do know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle so with that, together we our staying strong.”
“We have incredible people around us and so much love and support which is holding us up in this time of need,” she continued. “Buddy was loved by so many people and as small as he was, he made a huge impact in our lives. He truly was human in a way and we were so blessed to have him in our lives. We ask you that you please respect our privacy while we take this time to grieve and remember the magical moments we spent with our little angel. We will never forget our baby boy Buddy and his gentle loving spirit will live on in our hearts forever. RIP my tiniest little nightingale, Buddy…”

“I am very, very in love with him. I think — we will probably wait a little bit longer, but — if he asked me tomorrow I would say yes,” Demi shared.
She followed up that interview with a sweet pic on Instagram with just their hands, writing, “He’s there for me when others aren’t… He supports me when others won’t… He loves me when others don’t. ?? (not engaged… yall are crazy ????)”
The 22-year-old “Cool for the Summer” singer opened up about how she would react to a proposal from the 35-year-old From Dusk Till Dawn actor.
“I am very, very in love with him,” Demi told a New Zealand radio station about marriage (via Billboard). “I think — we will probably wait a little bit longer, but — if he asked me tomorrow I would say yes.”
She added, “Whenever we were first starting to date about like five years ago, because I was 18 and he was 30, people were definitely judgmental and even like my parents were kind of like, ‘I don’t know why someone his age is wanting to date someone so young?’ After a while, everyone started to see that what we have is real and incredible and very special and we have been together ever since.”
