Demi Lovato dedicated one of her most powerful songs to someone special during her concert at the Vector Arena on Saturday night (April 25) in Auckland, New Zealand.
The 22-year-old sang her amazing ballad “Warrior” to Bruce Jenner, who just confirmed he was transitioning into a woman. Video below!
“I just want to dedicate this song and it’s so cheesy that I’m even doing this, but f-ck it, whatever. I want to dedicate it to someone who became an even bigger hero last night – Bruce Jenner,” Demi told the crowd. “By the way, never ever thought I’d dedicate a song to him, but he was honest and he was open with his story. No matter if you agree with it or not, he probably saved so many lives and educated so many people about transitioning into being a woman and being transgender, and what that’s all about. So yeah, I just want to dedicate it to Bruce Jenner.”
She added, “By the way, he looked fabulous last night.”

Demi‘s new tattoo has definitely taken some time to complete, since she posted last week, “Oh yeah….. Forgot to post this…. It’s still a work in progress so I’ll insta when it’s done… and no this is NOT an April fools joke haha.”
The 22-year-old singer opened up her world tour, writing in a journal and more. Check it:
On her concerts: “For me, this past tour was not just about the entertainment ± I wanted my fans to walk away with a real message. I wanted to inspire people with this tour, and that’s why I invited guests like Spencer West who added a whole new element to my World Tour. In addition to Spencer West, Christina Perri, MKTO, Becky G and Bea Miller hit the road with me and each added their own special touch.”
On keeping a journal: “Keeping a journal has always been beneficial for me and helped me keep a positive outlook in my life. In my opinion, it’s one of the best ways to reflect. I wanted to create a journal as a companion to my book, Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year, to help inspire others to keep a journal as well.”
On her advice for young adults: “I would tell them to follow your dreams but always be sure to stay true to yourself. Even when things get tough, stay strong!”
On what’s coming this spring: “The upcoming season is going to be super exciting! I’m launching my skin care line Devonne By Demi and also have a hair extension line called, Secret Color. Devonne By Demi came out in December and a portion of the proceeds fund the Lovato Treatment Scholarship, helping someone who can’t afford the help they need for mental health. I’m excited to give back this season to causes that are closest to my heart but before all of this, I’m most excited for my World Tour, which continues to Australia and New Zealand this April!”
“It is now 3 years since you said: I am more important then any past, demon, disorder or addiction.. Where you decided that YOUR life was worth living while loving yourself.. And I’m sure glad you did… I knew then the woman you’ve become now.. I am proud and honor to be front row to see the world you are about to change. I love you Demi.”
I'm still catching up to texts and congrats tweets… Thank everyone who has supported my journey. I never knew sobriety was possible for me
