Demi Lovato glams up the September 2016 cover of Elle Canada.
The 23-year-old musician opened up to the glossy about her fans, her charity and more. Check it:
On relating to her fans: “Honesty gives me a way to relate to my fans. If I’m not honest, then I can’t open up to them and they can’t relate to me at all. I try to inspire people by saying ‘If I can go through that, you can go through that.’”
On her charity work being overshadowed: “It’s frustrating to see my charity work overshadowed by silly things, but you have to roll with the punches…The accolades that matter most to me are the ones that recognize the work I’ve done charity-wise. That’s really what matters most. No number one single can ever top that.”
On the one thing she absolutely believes in: “Aliens! I’ve seen a UFO. A couple of years ago, I was walking outside and I looked up and it was almost like there was a worm in the sky. It was changing shapes and moving all over the place.”
Demi Lovato may have a new man in her life!
The 23-year-old “Confident” singer and New York Giants player Odell Beckham Jr. were spotted enjoying a dinner date on Tuesday evening (July 19) at Hunt & Fish Club in New York City, according to Page Six.
“Odell came in around 11?p.m. alone, then Demi discreetly arrived about 10 minutes later,” a source told the paper. “They sat in a corner booth, and it definitely looked like a date. They looked very friendly and stayed until around 1:30 a.m.”
Back in June, Demi broke up with her longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.
Odell has been linked to Khloe Kardashian and Zendaya in the past.
Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato are “friends with (career) benefits” on the latest cover of Billboard magazine.
The longtime friends, tourmates, and business partners opened up to the glossy about all kinds of topics. Check it:
Nick on Demi leaving the 2010 Jonas tour after punching a dancer: “That we were going to get sued. I mean, it was bad. On top of losing a friend, we have seven dates left, it’s a big production, people are expecting to see Demi and that’s not going to happen. I was angry…”
Demi on leaving Disney: “We joked around that it was Disney High, except we all were shooting shows and really overworking. I joke that I sometimes have PTSD after leaving the channel, because if my schedule starts to get too busy, I rebel and I get bitchy…”
Nick on being advocates for the LGBTQ community: “Think about my past and where my love for performance comes from — musical theater. And playing this gay fighter in a very macho world for Kingdom, it requires me digging really deep, and I do it with respect and honor.”

“I think the thing that we’re both looking at is that this is an opportunity to show people where we are now. And if there’s an awareness of our friendship, that’s great but I don’t think that we’re assuming anything of anybody,” he explained.
Nick added, “I think that the key is for us to really give people that are fans a look into this next chapter and where we want to go in the future. And people that maybe aren’t as familiar that just wanted to come out to the show and see what it’s all about, to really show them who Demi and I are and make that the focus of this show.”
