New Minion Otto celebrates the trade of a special stone for a pet rock in the brand new trailer for Minions: The Rise of Gru.

Out in theaters this summer, the animated action movie centers on a young Gru (Steve Carell), who is just the biggest fan of supervillain supergroup, the Vicious 6, and he has a plan to become evil enough to join them.

Luckily, he gets some mayhem-making backup from his loyal followers, the Minions. Together, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto—a new Minion sporting braces and a desperate need to please—deploy their skills as they and Gru build their first lair, experiment with their first weapons and pull off their first missions.

When the Vicious 6 oust their leader, legendary fighter Wild Knuckles, Gru interviews to become their newest member. It doesn’t go well (to say the least), and only gets worse after Gru outsmarts them and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil.

On the run, Gru will turn to an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles himself, and discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.

Taraji P. Henson, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Lawless, Dolph Lundgren and Danny Trejo will voice the Vicious 6.

A brand new Minions movie is on its’ way and officially has a title!

Deadline is reporting that the upcoming animated feature will be titled Minions: The Rise of Gru, and will be out in July next year.

If you remember at the end of the first Minions movie, the yellow creatures just had their brush with a young Gru, who stole the crown jewels from Scarlet Overkill.

In another blink and you’ll miss it moment, you can spot Gru and his mom at the evil convention at a booth advertising the Freeze Ray.

More details are yet to come about the flick.

The Despicable Me franchise is officially king!

Over the weekend, the franchise surpassed the Shrek franchise as the highest grossing animated franchise of all time at the box office, Deadline reports.

The franchise — which includes Despicable Me 1-3, and Minions, hit the $3.528B mark topping Shrek‘s at $3.51B global — pretty cool!

The films started with evil villain Gru (Steve Carell), who uses a trio of orphan girls as pawns for a grand scheme. However, he finds their love is profoundly changing him for the better.

Agnes still has the look in her eye when anyone talks about unicorns in the brand new trailer for Despicable Me 3.

In the third movie, Gru, Lucy, the girls and our favorite minions are all back for one more adventure as Gru discovers he has a twin brother; and as Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker), a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ’80s, and proves to be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date.

Despicable Me 3 is ready to bring you the latest adventures of Gru, Lucy, and the Minions!

In the first trailer for the upcoming flick, the team faces their latest enemy, former ’80s child star Balthazar Bratt.

Balthazar is out for revenge and world domination after his TV show got canceled when he hit puberty.

In the hilarious trailer, Balthazar uses 80s-themed tactics to steal a giant jewel and it all ends in a dance-off with Gru!

Despicable Me 3 is set to hit theaters on June 30th.
