Florida theme parks are sharing an update on their reopening plans.
Both Universal Studios and Walt Disney World have released statements on their plans following the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.
Both parks, along with Legoland, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, have been closed for the last couple of days, due to the severe weather.
Universal has several areas that were left flooded, including a couple of attractions.

Orlando theme parks are set to close this week as Hurricane Ian gets closer and closer.
Walt Disney World and Universal Studios are among the major parks that are making announcements of their closures on Wednesday (September 28) and Thursday (September 29).

Disney CEO Bob Chapek just announced some huge Disneyland news on Friday (September 9) at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif.
The executive revealed that the Avengers Campus land in Disney California Adventure is expanding, and they will be adding a third ride!
Bob didn’t divulge too many details, as they are saving those for the A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences and Products presentation taking place on Sunday morning (September 11).
We do have a clue as to what is happening though.

Disney is offering a first look at the Disney Parks and Experiences Wonderful World of Dreams pavilion at this weekend’s D23 Expo!
The annual Disney Expo kicks off TODAY (September 9) and fans can get a little sneak peek at what’s being shown at the Disney Parks pavilion.
Fans in attendance can stop by and see these sneak peeks IRL, but we have some photos for those who can’t make it.
Teased at the Wonderful World of Dreams pavilion are the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure overhaul of Splash Mountain, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which is coming to Disneyland, models of the new Mickey’s Toontown, which is currently closed and under refurbishment and even sneak peeks of new features coming to Walt Disney World‘s EPCOT.

Disneyland‘s annual pass program, Magic Key, is coming back this week – to an extent!
The Anaheim, Calif., theme park first launched the new program a year ago, and it was put on hold for the summer earlier this year.
The Magic Key is a four tier program that took the place of the Annual Pass (AP) program.
In addition to the program returning, they also changed a couple of the tiers.

A Big Thunder Mountain movie is in the works!
Hawkeye‘s Bert and Bertie are reportedly in negotiations to direct the feature for Disney, according to Deadline.
The duo, aka Amber Templemore-Finlayson (Bert) and Katie Ellwood (Bertie), have been tapped to bring the Disney Parks attraction to the big screen for the Mouse House’s latest ride-to-movie adaptation.
