'Beauty & The Beast' Stars Debate Who The Best Disney Prince Actually Is

While the Disney Princesses get praised, the Disney Princes are mostly looked over…but not today!

Beauty and the Beast stars Josh Gad and Luke Evans, who star as Le Fou and Gaston in the live action film, sat down with People and debated just who really was the best Disney Prince.

While they don’t really like Prince Florian (Snow White), but do love Prince Eric (Ariel), it’s Prince Philip that leaves an impression.

The one I feel really badly for is the Sleeping Beauty prince [Prince Phillip], because he’s got to fight a dragon — a thorny forest,” Josh explains, before busting out into the “Once Upon A Dream” song that’s featured in Sleeping Beauty.

JJJ Fun Fact
: Prince Philip was named after Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh — Queen Elizabeth II’s husband!

Mandy Moore Reveals Why She Said Yes To Returning as Rapunzel For 'Tangled: The Series'

Mandy Moore Reveals Why She Said Yes To Returning as Rapunzel For 'Tangled: The Series'

JJJ always hoped that we’d have another Tangled movie someday…but we got something better instead — an entire series!

Mandy Moore, who voices Rapunzel, recently dished about why she returned for the project after being a little weary about it.

“I mean, as Tangled the movie came to a close, Rapunzel was happily reuniting with her parents. And then with Disney’s Tangled Ever After short a year or so later, we saw her getting married to Eugene…So it originally seemed — to me, anyway — that there just wasn’t a whole lot of story left to tell,” she revealed.

However, she was convinced to return after seeing there was way more story to tell.

“[Executive producer] Chris [Sonnenburg] put together a very compelling argument that – as Tangled the movie was ending — Rapunzel and Eugene were actually in a pretty precarious position. As a couple, they were really just getting to know one another,” Mandy figured out. “Plus Rapunzel – after all those years of being trapped in that tower – had not only just learned that Mother Gothel wasn’t really her mother, but that her real parents are royalty.”

“Which makes her a Princess. Which means that – someday soon – she’s going to have to rule over this entire kingdom!”

Mandy added, “When Chris put it like that, it really did become clear to myself and Zachary Levi that there was a whole lot more story to tell here. A whole lot more to learn about Rapunzel and Eugene.”

And JJJ is so glad she did!

Tangled: The Series will premiere next Friday, March 24th on Disney Channel.

Bella Thorne's Favorite Disney Princess is One You Wouldn't Expect

We all have our favorite Disney Princess, or a handful of them and ones we definitely aren’t fans of…but Bella Thorne has an ultimate favorite.

Brave‘s Merida!

“That girl, Merida, is one tough cookie,” Bella admitted her admiration for the Scottish princess in Wonderland‘s new Spring issue. “I like her.”

She added why she liked Merida over any of the others: “She ain’t need no man and is a badass with that bow and arrow. Another talent I want to acquire! Shooting a bow and arrow.”

Bella even kind of looks like Merida in this pic, don’t you think?
