Ellie Goulding cozies up to musician Dougie Poynter while out and about in London with a few friends on Monday afternoon (May 19).

The 27-year-old singer held hands with Dougie, 26, while picking up some food to go.

“It’s about touring,” Ellie recently told Billboard about her “Beating Heart” song for Divergent. “…about being away and never being able to spend enough time with someone, and hoping we’ll end up colliding again, somehow.”

She added, “[It] did remind me of someone, recently. It’s just such a sad song, and so relevant to what I do – not being able to have a physical closeness with someone, because you’re just never around.”

Ellie Goulding walks alongside rumored boyfriend Dougie Poynter as they head out for the night on Wednesday evening (February 26) in London, England.

Earlier in the day, the 27-year-old British singer worked out with her personal trainer, running and boxing with him at a local park.
