The trio are all starring in Elixir, which will premiere on ABC Family in 2012.
The short summary for the movie: Choreographer Harper (Jane Seymour) travels to Italy for her daughter Mirabella’s (Paxton) wedding to once-upon-a-time playboy Marco (Alexander John).
Harper takes a swig from a strange bottle that is supposed to dull the pain of an old dance injury. Instead, the elixir magically turns Harper thirty years younger (Kane) and she tries to sabotage the nuptials.
Drew will play the young version of Ryan, Harper’s husband, who also drinks the elixir. Adrienne Bailon will also star.
Looks like Drew Seeley won’t be joining the cast of 90210 after all.
The unfortunate news comes after the actor/musician was taken ill after eating a local diner.
Drew wrote on his Facebook about the situation, “Morning world… I have some unfortunate news – The night before I was to begin shooting on 90210, I was stricken with a really bad case of food poisoning and had to seek medical help. With such short notice, the show was unable to juggle my scenes around and had to re-cast the role.”
“As bummed as I am that this happened, I know Matt Cohen will be a great addition to the cast and I wish them all the best of luck. Thank you for your overwhelming support and love, and I hope to have some better news for you soon. Have a great weekend! Cheers, D.”
Next up for Drew? A concert in Berlin in September! More details soon.

Drew Seeley‘s “How A Heart Breaks” is one of JJJ’s favorite tracks off his new album The Resolution Act III so we’re super excited Drew just finished the music video for the song in Vancouver last week!
The 29-year-old singer posted some pictures from the shoot that he took with his iphone on his website.
Drew wrote, “Worked with some AMAZING directors/producers/actors and a really great crew last week in Vancouver (THANK YOU to all of you who were involved!) Video for ‘How a Heart Breaks’ is in the can, and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!”
Adam Hicks and Drew Seeley hit the recording studio together to lend their vocal talents to a brand-new song — “Dance For Life” — that will be featured on Shake It Up!
JJJ was lucky enough to be in the studio while the two were recording and were blown away!
Adam told us during a break, “This is definitely a song that will motivate you. It will get you out of your seat and wanting to actually dance. It’s actually a concept where you’re really dancing through life. You go through situations — whether they’re difficult or a success — you’re dancing constantly. Hopefully a lot of people can relate to it, because I know everyone has danced before.”
Drew added, “It’s a great song. Adam is a super talented rapper. I haven’t sung a lot of songs with rappers, but it turned out great.”
Want a sneak peek? JJJ has a video of the Jabbawockeez dancing to it from the episode airing THIS WEEKEND (Sunday, June 12 @ 8:30PM ET/PT on Disney Channel]!
Haley Ramm walks barefoot on the street in support of the TOM’s Shoes for One Day Without Shoes event held on Tuesday afternoon (April 5) in Los Angeles at Sportie LA.
Joined by Brittany Curran, Drew Seeley and Amy Paffrath, the quartet shed their shoes to spread the word about the importance of a single pair of shoes to a person’s life.
The One Day Without Shoes event shines a spotlight on the tragic circumstances experienced by so many around the world. Tom Shoes developed the idea so that people around the world would go barefoot and experience what the millions of people living without shoes go through on a daily basis.
