British singer Ella Eyre is possibly the one artist you don’t have on your playlist, that you absolutely should.
The songstress just dropped the catchy “Ego” and is gearing up to drop her next album soon.
Speaking with Fault magazine, Ella dished on how it’s going to be much different from her first, Feline.
“Completely, yeah!” she says. “I’d say there was quite a bit of pop on the first album so I’m definitely honing that more and moving away from drum and bass.”
Ella adds, “I love drum and bass and I’ve had so much fun touring it but I want to show diversity in my voice and explore a different genre.”
She wants to completely change the “depressed” mood that was on Feline and replace it with something completely different and we’re here for it.
“I’ve taken some time to reflect, travel the world, see my friends and realise life’s not all that bad!”
The Vamps and Ella Eyre hit the stage with fire at the 2017 V Festival over the weekend held at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, England.
The two musical acts wowed the crowd with their sets, and Ella even came back for a second day at Cannock.
Backstage at the event, The Vamps lead vocalist Brad Simpson recalled going to his first festival.
“I came here when I was 16, it was my first festival. It was messy and I got sunburnt,” he remembers. “It’s weird coming back and playing, it is kind of like a full circle.”
Brad continued, “I was speaking to my mates who I came to V festival with the other day [and] They were saying it’s mad how we went and now you are playing it – but it’s a good feeling.”

Ella Eyre has a brand new sound and it’s something she’s definitely proud of.
The British singer/songwriter, who is celebrating and promoting her new single “Ego”, opened up to NME about her new music.
“I’m very excited, and if anything this process has got me even more excited for people to hear the new direction that I’m going in,” Ella shared.
“It’s certainly more pop, and that’s the music that I grew up loving. That’s the kind of music that I was inspired by, growing up as a child.”
“I feel like I needed to move on and progress,” Ella continued. “I want to have longevity and I wanted to explore more directions for me to show off my voice in a different way.”

“I’ve learned that you can’t let people’s comments get you down,” she shared. “If you do, then they win.”
Madison adds, “You have to focus on the good things, block out the bad things and think: I’m having fun. I’m living my dream. If you guys want to make fun of me, that’s your problem! Just remember to hold yourself high and be proud of yourself.”
