On her role in Ginger & Rosa: “I realized that I’d matured a bit doing it.”
Ginger & Rosa‘s Sally Potter on Elle’s work in the film: “Elle can surrender to a scene in an extraordinarily interior and intelligent way. At the end of a take, she would look up at me for approval and love with this radiant smile.”
Cameron Crowe on working with Elle in We Bought a Zoo: “When she finished her scenes she would literally skip through the set singing. People working on the movie, even the ones going through a bad day, would stop just to watch her.”

On seeking out fashion treasures: “I went to the vintage store Wasteland with my grandmother to look for clothes. People say it’s so hard to look in there, because there’s so much, but you really just have to focus, get in the zone. I found this amazing floral jumpsuit that’s so cool. I have the patience to look through every rack.”
On movie roles: “I like playing characters with as many emotions as possible. I’d love to play a really crazy person—someone truly out of her mind.”
On her nervous tic: “I write ['Bob Dylan'] on my hand every day in school, mostly when I’m bored. I’ve been doing it since I was pretty young. I used to do it for fun, but now it’s a nervous tic.”

Elle Fanning, Nicholas Hoult and Kodi Smit-McPhee have signed on for Young Ones.
Via Variety, the futuristic thriller film will be directed by Jake Paltrow, brother of actress Gwyneth.
The movie is set in a violent near-future where water has become the most precious — and fastest-dwindling — resource on the planet and turns on a 14-year-old boy forced use his wits to survive.

Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning arrive in style at a promotional event for the J.Estina SS 2013 campaign presentation at the Shilla Hotel on Monday evening (January 7) in Seoul, South Korea.
While in South Korea, the sisters will be making an appearance on talk show Paik Ji-yeon’s People Inside to discuss the campaign!

Over the weekend, the girls enjoyed a shopping trip to a mall in the Hongdae area where they were mobbed by South Korean fans!
