Justin Bieber is making his first television appearance in a long time by giving an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing Thursday (January 29). Now, you can watch the video ahead of the show’s airing!
As he sat down for the interview, the 20-year-old singer said “I haven’t been on TV in a while so I’m a little nervous.”
Justin opened up about his troubled past and how he has a positive outlook for the future.
“I think it’s just cool to be able to laugh at yourself so. I’ve done some things. That might not of been the greatest,” Justin said. “I just want to be able to ya know. And kind of just kind own up to some of the things.”

The 22-year-old entertainer told host Ellen DeGeneres about her personal health struggles this past year.
When asked where she is on a scale of 1-10, Selena said she’s a seven. She then opened up about what she’s going through.
“Yeah. You know this year’s been…I feel like I have been doing this so long that people tend to forget that there, all like ‘be yourself, be yourself,’ and I’m still trying to figure out who that is. So, I know I’m not perfect, but I know I have a lot of people that support me and love me,” Selena said. “I don’t know, I don’t want to let anyone down. So I just try to be the best I can be. it’s awkward being 20. In our 20s.”
“I get to do amazing things like use my platform for things like UNICEF and kind of just shift everything into what’s important and what actually matters in the world. So that’s my plus side,” Selena added.

When Ellen asked the 16-year-old pop superstar about dating, Justin coyly alluded to going on a date with Selena Gomez!
Justin said that he and BFF Jaden Smith went to a football game with Jaden‘s dad Will, and Selena just happened to run into her there.
Justin likes to act like a normal teenager, saying “I like to hang out with girls and date and stuff like every other 16 year-old.”
Ellen asked Justin what his feelings on bullying were and he had a message for his fans on the subject.
“There are so many bullies. It goes on so much,” he said. “I think that you should… especially if you are a bystander, you definitely should help out because it could be you next. Everybody goes through bullying. Everybody has it even me.”
