Jordan Fisher, former winner of Dancing with the Stars, actor in Rent Live and the upcoming To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 2, is engaged!
The 25-year-old actor and singer popped the question to his 20-year-old girlfriend Ellie Woods.
“It was the biggest surprise of my life!” Ellie told People about the proposal. “I’m a very hard person to surprise so the fact that he pulled it off, kudos to you, babe.”
“It’s a really special place for us, and when we started to pull into the neighborhood he was just going on about how we’ve been friends for so long, and I wasn’t really picking up on it,” Ellie continued about the proposal. “Then we pulled into my parents’ house and I was like, ‘What is that?’ We stopped, got out of the car and Jordan walked me to our backyard where there’s a little deck over the pond.”
Congrats to the happy couple on the wonderful news!
Jordan Fisher gushed all over his girlfriend Ellie Woods today during his appearance on The Real.
After speaking with the hosts about his newest single, “Mess”, the DWTS champ opened up about making things official with Ellie, who he’s been dating for a while, and how the song is actually about her.
“The love of my life,” Jordan says of Ellie, who’s a student at University of Alabama. “We actually grew up together and have known each other for 11 years.”

FYI: Jordan is wearing a Perry Ellis outfit on the show.
The adorable duo actually knew each other for quite a few years before their friendship turned into something more last year.
“We grew up in a theatre company together in Birmingham. We were just friends. It took us a long time for all of a sudden, like a year and a half ago we were kind of like ‘Let’s see what this could be,’” Jordan recently told J-14.
He added, “I was working on Hamilton at the time. I was like ‘Come to New York. I’ll take you on some dates and let’s just figure it out.’ So, she came to New York, I took her on some dates, and that was it!”
It looks like the entertainer and Dancing With The Stars competitor was out to dinner with Ellie when the pic was taken last night (October 2) after the show.
“Just look at this beauty,” he wrote over the pic of the twosome. So sweet!
Jordan loves leaving sweet notes on Ellie‘s Instagram account too.
“Good Lord, you’re something”, “I’m blessed”, and “Oooo, my baby so fine” are some of our favorites.
However, this one takes the cake:
“Good Lord. If only I knew how to properly articulate how happy you make me..this would be so much easier. You truly make me the happiest person on earth. So grateful to have you and to have had you in my life all these years. Even more grateful that I get to call you my person.”
Can we all have a Jordan Fisher in our lives? Melting over him, and them!
