Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson head back to their car after picking up some groceries at Erewhon Market on Saturday (April 11) in Los Angeles.
The cute couple were sure to wear their masks and gloves for their outing.
In another part of town that day, their fellow Dancing With The Stars pro dancer and friend Emma Slater was seen wearing a bandana over her face while going out for a walk.
The next day, Emma took to her Instagram story to wish Jenna a “Happy Birthday” on her 26th birthday (April 12).
“Celebrating the power woman that is @jennajohnson,” she wrote with one pic, adding on another, “I love you so much.”
“Bookending it with this. You’re such a beautiful soul with so much love for everyone,” Emma continued with another post. “I’ll always be here for you and you can always rely on me! I’m so proud of your baking also, you’re way better than I could ever be and that’s ok as long as you keep bringing me your bakes to try!!”
“Haha love you Jenski. So happy to have you in my life!! Can’t wait to see you soon pickle,” she concluded. Aw so sweet!!
Happy Birthday Jenna!!!!
Sasha Farber and Emma Slater take their cute pup on a bike ride last week in Los Angeles.
The Dancing With The Stars couple got some exercise after being cooped up inside all week.
The day before, Sasha and Emma, along with their pup, were seen out on a walk, with warm drinks in hand.
That week, Emma shared how much she was missing the DWTS Live Tour, and dished on one of her favorite dances.
“Missing tour already. I felt so free in every dance but one of my favorite dances was this one with the amazing @valentin. Loved dancing this and grateful to share it with such an incredible talent,” she captioned a series of photos.
Ally Brooke arrives at the dance studio in super short shorts for rehearsal on Tuesday afternoon (November 19).
The 26-year-old singer met up with partner Sasha Farber and his wife, Emma Slater, after running into and giving Lindsay Arnold a hug about her return to the studios.
Speaking with US Weekly, Ally opened up about having a new purpose for the finals following the shocking elimination of James Van Der Beek earlier in the week.
“I am so focused. I have more of a sense of purpose with everything that happened in the past 24 hours. So I’m taking in every moment. I’m grateful,” Ally says. “I’m going to definitely push myself and I’m going to soak in the days and the fact that I’m here because it’s not easy to get to the finale and the fact that I made it is really, really incredible.”
Speaking of the finals, she also spoke and her and Sasha‘s freestyle.
“I’m very excited. It’s one of my favorite songs and it’s definitely going to be a strong moment, a strong way to exit,” she shared. “My biggest hope is that with the freestyle, people see me and that they love this freestyle and they connect to me and I hope that this is a dance that will get me to win. But if not, at least I’m gonna put my entire soul into this dance.”
Ally Brooke was in actual tears last night over the shocking elimination on Dancing With The Stars.
After being int he bottom two alongside James Van Der Beek and his partner, Emma Slater, the judges chose to save the 26-year-old singer and her partner, Sasha Farber, for the finals.
Moments after, Ally was ready to give up her spot for James, who had revealed earlier in the night that his wife, Kimberly, had suffered a miscarriage with their sixth child.
“I’m really sad and I just feel like it’s not right that he went home and that is how I feel,” Ally explained to ET. “Obviously I know Sasha and I have been through hell and back on the show. We’ve overcome so many obstacles and we’re strong people, we adore the show more than anything. I have had the time of my life on this show. But it’s really tough, especially given James’ circumstances that he went tonight.”
She continued, “I don’t believe it’s fair that he was sent home, so I just wanted to give my spot to him. He’s been through so much and he’s overcome so many things. Especially this past week, I just felt it was right to give it to him. Obviously he didn’t accept it. I talked to him and he was proud of me. He told me, ‘Don’t be afraid to shine.’ So I’m going to take that with me and I just have to do this for him, is what I feel.”
