Emma Watson holds onto her golden popcorn award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards held at Sony Pictures Studios on Sunday (April 14) in Los Angeles.
The 23-year-old actress was presented with the Trailblazer Award at the show by her Perks of Being A Wallflower co-star Logan Lerman and My Week With Marilyn co-star Eddie Redmayne.

“The character is everything that I felt strongly against – she’s superficial, materialistic, vain, amoral,” Emma recently shared with British GQ about her role in the flick. “She’s all of these things and I realized that I hated her. How do you play someone you hate?”

The 22-year-old actress, who dined out at Bar Italia with a friend, stopped to play with the dogs while talking with their owners.

“I was doing an English course [at Brown University]. So I would go from reading Virginia Woolf to [watching] Kim Kardashian,” Emma recently shared with GQ to prepare for her role in The Bling Ring.
She added, “I kind of loved it, this mix of super-high and super-low culture. I think it was a nice balance.”
Emma Watson shows off a little skin on the May 2013 cover of British GQ.
“When I read the script and I realized that essentially it was a meditation on fame and what it’s become to our society, I had to do it,” the 22-year-old actress says of her newest role in The Bling Ring.
Emma added, “The character is everything that I felt strongly against – she’s superficial, materialistic, vain, amoral. She’s all of these things and I realized that I hated her. How do you play someone you hate? But I found it really interesting and it gave me a whole new insight into what my job, or my role as an actress, could be.”
