Our staff was chosen as one of a few to participate in ABC Family’s new Jane By Design blogger challenge and we’re almost ready to go.

For the challenge, we’ll be completing a number of design challenges (with the help from you!) and — crossing fingers — one of our JJJ reader’s style will be featured on the ABC Family website. Pretty cool, right?

We’ve got a full trunk of tasks and challenges, along with a mannequin to dress up. So, task #1 from Gray — go shopping! We’ve got a $50 gift card to go anywhere and spend it.

We have a few places to go in minds but we have to know where you want us to go. Any particular places? After we shop, we have to put together a haul video — can you guys help us with that? Hope so!

There is officially less than a month until the series premiere of Jane By Design!

JJJ is so excited for the new show, that we’re giving you a preview!

Jane Quimby (Erica Dasher) is a quirky teen with an eclectic chic fashion sense, who lands a job at a hip fashion house when they mistake her for an adult.

Torn between her love of fashion and the need to finish high school, Jane conceals her true age to assist the demanding, but talented Gray Chandler Murray (Andie MacDowell), who travels the world in search of the next big style trend. Jane quickly learns that working for a successful executive in the cutthroat world of fashion is not as glamorous as she once thought.

But with help from her best friend Billy Nutter (Nick Roux), Jane tries to keep up appearances as she toggles between two lives and guard her secret. Even with Billy’s support, will Jane’s ruse be a passing fad, or will she be able to fashion a career in the design business?

Jane By Design premieres Tuesday, January 3rd @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC Family.

The Jane By Design starlet, wearing Isharya earrings and rings, is gearing up for the premiere of her new ABC Family series, which premieres on January 3rd.
