Drama Club is premiering on Nickelodeon this weekend and JJJ is getting to know the stars of the new series!
If you don’t already know, the show is a mockumentary-style comedy about a group of middle schoolers as they shine a light on the inner workings of their school’s overlooked drama club.
Chase Vacnin stars in the series as Bench Logan, the not so bright football player who joins the Tookus Middle School Drama Club because he forgot to sign up for an elective.
You may recognize Chase from his role on Ramy or as Butch in The Little Rascals Save the Day. Find out10 Fun Facts about Chase below!
The 21-year-old actress can currently be seen on NBC’s Young Rock as Karen, Dwayne’s teenage love interest.
The series focuses on different chapters of Dwayne Johnson’s life. From growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family, to playing football at the University of Miami, the show will explore the crazy rollercoaster that has shaped Dwayne into the man he is today and the larger-than-life characters he’s met along the way.
While this week’s episode focuses on the young adult years of Dwayne, next week’s episode will be back to the high school days and you can catch Lexie then!
1. I am an Australian/American Dual Citizen. I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. My Dad is Australian and my Mum is American. She moved to Australia after college.
2. My first introduction to the industry was through Musical Theatre. I played Jane Banks in the Australian Musical Production of Disney/Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins for a year when I was 11 years old.
3. I have the most adorable Pomeranian, who is named after my Mary Poppins experience. His name is Poppins, even though he’s a boy. He doesn’t seem to mind though.
4. During the filming of Young Rock, my cast mates Bradley Constant (15 year old Dwayne) and Taj Cross (Gabe) had a couple weeks off so we went to almost every tourist destination around Brisbane, including Australia Zoo. I have a distinct memory of their faces getting up close with our native animals like Kangaroos, Koalas – Priceless!
5. My go-to jam session music is almost any Broadway Musical cast recording – I’m a little bit of a theatre geek.
The 19-year-old entertainer and the 24-year actress and influencer, who have been friends for years, will host Adulting, a Parcast & Spotify Original podcast, JJJ can exclusively reveal.
Every week, the girls will confess how they’re really handling adulthood. Who’s walked away from toxic friendships? Who’s perfected the art of living with roommates? Who’s figured out how to befriend her parents?
New episodes will premiere exclusively on Spotify on Wednesdays each week, starting TOMORROW (March 16) – Surprise!
“SOMETHING HUGE IS COMING THIS WEDNESDAY @NiaSioux 😍👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀,” Teala teased on Twitter on Monday (March 15).

In the video, Bailee‘s Avery gifts Kevin‘s Will a photograph of the two of them and two other campers.
“I just, I wanted you to have this photo. You don’t have to keep it, it’s totally weird. I just.. I don’t know, it’s a good picture,” Bailee says in the clip.
The upcoming movie follows troubled teen Will Hawkins (Quinn) who has a run-in with the law that puts him at an important crossroad: go to juvenile detention or attend a Christian summer camp. At first a fish-out-of-water, Will opens his heart, discovers love with a camp regular (Madison), and sense of belonging in the last place he expected to find it. Watch the trailer here!
If you missed it, be sure to also check out the recently released musical clip of the song “Place In This World,” which also features Bailee and Kevin.
A Week Away premieres on Netflix on Friday, March 26th.
JJJ is learning more about the super cute young star of Yes Day, Everly Carganilla!
The young actress plays the youngest member of the Torres family in the movie, Ellie.
Here’s a synopsis: Always feeling like they have to say NO to their kids and co-workers, Allison and Carlos decide to give their three kids a YES DAY — where for 24 hours the kids make the rules. Little did they know that they’d be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles, that would bring the family closer to each other than ever before.
Everly and her co-star Jenna Ortega, who plays her older sister in Yes Day, actually have something in common – they both played younger versions of Gina Rodriguez in Jane The Virgin! Everly played baby Jane in an episode, while Jenna starred as Young Jane in multiple episodes.
Yes Day is out now and we’re getting to know one of the film’s stars Julian Lerner!
The young actor can be seen in the new Netflix movie as Nando Torres, the middle child.
