I. Marlene King Wants To Find A Way to Continue 'Famous In Love', Teases Possible Podcast

I. Marlene King still wants to continue the stories in Famous In Love.

The creator/writer put up a good fight to keep the show going, but unfortunately, it was still cancelled.

“I am deeply grateful for the #FamousInLove cast, crew and our passionate fans. I could not be more saddened by today’s news. I love these characters and the wild ride they were taking us on,” Marlene wrote after the news. “Thank you @warnerbrosTV for fighting the good fight with me. We gave it our all. Keep #Raige in your hearts and they will live on.”

While the TV show may no longer be continuing, she knows just how the story would go on, and wants to find a way to tell how it all continued.

“S3 of #FamousInLove is totally mapped out. This was a blow so I need to catch my breath but I would love to find a way to share w fans. ❤️,” she replied to a fan on Twitter.

“We know season 3. Going to try to find a way to give all the answers to our fans. Maybe a podcast! #FamousInLove,” Marlene continued.

Carter Jenkins and Charlie DePew, aka enemies Rainer and Jake, are reflecting on their time on Famous In Love.

The guys took to their Instagram accounts to send off their final goodbyes after the show was officially cancelled by Freeform.

“I was the adopted child of Famous in Love, cast a day before production began. I showed up to set to have the most beautiful welcome I could have possibly imagined,” Charlie wrote. “These amazing people helped me feel comfortable; I’m so thankful for that. To the amazing fans of Famous in Love thank you for your unwavering commitment to the universe we were creating. We got two seasons of meta storytelling unrivaled by Entourage. Hollywood inside of Hollywood. We hope you enjoyed watching it as much as we did making it. ❤️”

“I’m very sad to say Famous in Love will not continue for season 3,” Carter wrote on his account. “THANK YOU to everyone who loved this show and voiced their support- we put up a valiant fight. Although I feel we had a lot left to give, I’m proud of the story we told in two seasons. I’ll miss this cast – I’ll be watching and supporting everything you do. Thank you to @imarleneking, @rebecca_serle & @freeform for entrusting me with Rainer. It was my great pleasure. #RaigeForever”

Pepi Sonuga Reacts To 'Famous in Love' Cancellation: 'Thank You For Letting Me Be Your Tangey'

Pepi Sonuga is saying goodbye to Famous in Love‘s Tangey Turner.

The 24-year-old actress shared a touching tribute on her Instagram after the news of the show’s cancellation was official.

“Here are some season 1 throwbacks, starting with our first ever table read. Unfortunately, FIL will not be getting a season 3,” she wrote.

Pepi adds, “It’s always sad saying goodbye to something you love so much, but I want to say how grateful I am for this entire experience.”

“And my favorite part: you guys! So many new people to share my journey with. So thank you so much. To everyone involved. Tangey was my most precious girl. I will forever hold this experience close to me. Thank you for letting me be your Tangey Turner ❤️.”

'Famous In Love' Officially Cancelled After Two Seasons on Freeform

We’re sad to report that Famous in Love has officially been cancelled by Freeform.

JJJ can confirm that the series’ will end after only two seasons on the network.

“We are proud to have had the opportunity to air Famous In Love,” the network shared in a statement. “After many discussions we have made the difficult decision not to renew the show for a third season.”

They continued, “We want to thank our colleagues at Warner Horizon and our incredible producers, writers, cast and crew, especially Marlene King, for their creativity, hard work and dedication.”

Marlene tried to rally fans earlier this week to help save the show, however, it just wasn’t enough.

Famous in Love showrunner I. Marlene King isn’t going down without a fight in trying to save the Freeform series from cancellation and it’s so inspiring!

Marlene has rallied a ton of fans and nearly all the cast to start tweeting and sending messages to the network to renew the show for a season three.

“We are praying for S3 of @FamousInLoveTV. We need U to step up @FreeformTV. How can we leave fans w this cliffhanger and no resolution?” she wrote on Twitter. “And we are counting on you @FamousInLoveTV fans. Be loud, proud and bold. The cast and crew of @FamousInLoveTV loves our fans.”

With that, Carter Jenkins, Georgie Flores, Pepi Sonuga, Niki Koss, and Charlie DePew all sent their support.

“Ya heard her,” Carter wrote. “Time fo get loud.”
