Selena Gomez Reveals Inspiration Behind Her Rabbit Motif in New Coach Collection

If you look at Selena Gomez‘s new Coach collection, you’ll notice several themes – but one of the biggest ones is a rabbit.

Turns out, the 26-year-old entertainer incorporated the animal in the new collection because it was a childhood memory.

“Coach has been known to having the T-Rex or the unicorn, so when I began working on my collection, I wanted to come up with my own take on this,” Selena shared with THR. “I was reminded of rabbit I had when I was child who was my favorite pet.”

She adds, “I brought that up to [Coach creative director] Stuart [Vevers] while we were designing, and then it went from there.”

The rabbit, on its’ hind legs, motif runs all through her designs – from wallets and sweaters, and beyond.

There’s another motif, too, which was inspired by Selena‘s own self positive motto: “Not perfect, always me.”

“It was also important to me to have an empowering message inserted into the collection,” Selena shared. “I chose to incorporate the message ‘Not perfect. Always me,’ which are words I remind myself constantly and think it’s an message everyone should remind themselves of.”

“No one is perfect and we need to know that’s okay.”

Hailey Baldwin Wears Her Engagement Ring on the Runway!

Hailey Baldwin is showing off her engagement ring from fiance Justin Bieber in one of the most public places she can – the runway!

The 21-year-old model opened the show while walking the runway in Tommy Hilfiger’s TOMMYNOW ICONS fashion show on Tuesday (September 4) in Shanghai, China.

The event showcased the first TommyXLewis collection, race car driver Lewis Hamilton‘s collaboration with the brand, as well as the new TOMMY ICONS women’s capsule and the Hilfiger Collection.

The fashion show was live streamed online and all the clothes seen on the runway were immediately shoppable online.

Hailey opened the show and more models walking included Maggie Jiang, Winnie Harlow, Joan Smalls and Lucky Blue Smith. Actor Diego Boneta was in the front row.

Selena Gomez is starring in a cute new campaign film for Coach to celebrate her brand new collaboration with the fashion brand, which will debut on Friday (August 31).

The cute video depicts Selena as one of the regular employees at Coach‘s New York City headquarters and as her co-workers start to leave for the day, she claims that she has to work late.

Once the office is empty, Selena runs wild and rocks out in the design studio.

“I had so much fun working on the film,” Selena said in a statement. “And I’m thrilled to share the collection, which speaks to everything I love about Coach and also so perfectly represents who I am.”

Elle Fanning & Rowan Blanchard Reveal Their Inner Warholians for Miu Miu

Elle Fanning and Rowan Blanchard are among the many stars in the Miu Miu girl gang who are featured in the fashion brand’s new campaign for fall/winter 2018!

The retro campaign brought out the inner Warholians of the stars.

The short film, directed by Steve Mackey and Douglas Hart and styled by creative director Katie Grand, began as a test shoot in a Central London basement.

Some of the other stars featured in the campaign are model Adwoa Aboah, Gwendoline Christie, and Raffey Cassidy.

Mackey sets a muted colour palette and monochromatic finish to bring out a mood that is unapologetically sullen, insolent and carries the underlying message: not to be messed with. In times of metaphysical trauma, the girl gang needs to wear its armour. Here it is, set to the mood music of a bored telephone call listing the power of haircuts,” Miu Miu said in a press release.
